  • First, that was great. Second, it shows the nylon string guitar can deliver the blues as good as good as any steel string.

  • Simply Brilliant! cheers.

  • Aw YEAH, man! I don't get it now, listening to you man: WHY must all the jazz guitarists insist on playing the STEEL, man - for acoustic, that nylon just has that beautiful jazzy sound (and they're aesthetically gorgeous). If I weren't watching this, I's almost think in parts you were playing a clean jazz box on clean! Beautiful! I'm SOLD, man, I have a chance to get this Ramirez & I'm taking the plunge! GREAT playing, by the way!

  • Um, by the way, you look like young John Ritter! :)

    Once more: AWESOME!

  • What can I say. This was amazingly beautiful. How long have you been playing?

  • Amazing... What guitar is this?

  • The sound is excellent...as well as your performance, of course. Could you say what microphone you are using. Thank you.

  • good of scle....

  • Awesome

  • at 02:31 you should have looked up and said "They cal it stormy Mondays"

  • @GuildF40

LOL with a strong swiss accent same as Marc Faber :-)

Thanks for the nice comment to my profile, mate.

  • @qminusis would have been fine all ya gotta do IS MEAN IT :o)

  • @GuildF40 true but on the other hand who really means the blues these days anyway?

  • @webusecom on occasion I DO :)

  • great stuff hey i know a song u might like checker out "ya know im pretty shot" by vinnie vincent invasion its awesome

  • Very nice, thank you for sharing with us.

  • Russell Crow??

  • Russell Crow?

  • Russell Crow?

  • nice!! sounds jazzy,my kinda style you know?

  • atempting to learn the blues and wondered why haven"t seen anyone using a classical guitar. The sound of the classical guitar is unique and that uniqueness really comes out when you played. I LOVED IT. I try not to put things in too tight of a box. Experimentation and what the ear hears and the heart loves is to me what it's about. Thank you so much for hearing for the 1st time blues on nylon.

  • so diffrent from my stafs

and it is what makes it good i guess

  • You. Have. The. Greatest. Blues. Face. Ever.

Amazing playing, that classical guitar sounds soo beautiful. There's something about them. My classical is my favorite of my guitars. I let the strings almost go dead to get that 'soft' sound out of her.

  • Nylon never does sound like blues though. Really I would have guessed jazz.. But nice nonetheless.

  • Great stuff!

  • please tab this great tune out man im sure there are lots of people out there who would love to play it bravooooo

  • Thanks, but this is just improvised and I'm not very good in tabbing out the stuff I play (honestly its just to much work)

But you can download the vid and there's software in the web where you can extract a mp3 out of it and play it slow motion as in the software Transcribe etc. Thats good exercise for learning btw.

Anyhow thanks for the response :-)

  • wow man.you are amazing

  • Awesome man! love blues in nylon strings too!

    5/5

  • Wonderful G! So great to hear blues\on the classical. You play great!

    bill

  • This is amazingly good!!! I wanna play like that!

  • Great guitar Face!

  • By the way,my bro.

these days I wanna try some nylons.

Do I need a handmade classic guitar?

Or a cheap classic guitar will be ok as well?

  • Hi there, there are many good cheap ones around. Check the neck, string distance and playability like with all other guitars. Later then you can decide if you want to have an expensive one, a harder tone with a flamenco guitar, a more dark sound with the brasilians or a soft classical tone. You'll feel it when you start to control the sound with your right hand :-)

  • wow!! I play guitar but that was great!!

If you have the tabs send me please

  • Thank you for listening.

This is improvised blues. No tabs. Did'nt even knew how the piece would end when I started. If you are interested in this kind of music you'll find techniques for improvising in various jazz theory books.

  • sorry but you can say to me some sites about that?

I'm portuguese and I just have 14 years old but I love that type of music but I don't know well were I can find tabs about it :S

  • Hi, I would go to aebersold (dot) com for play along cds and books. Also check out melbay (dot) com for books. I recommend you to find a teacher to get started and who can guide you to portugese books. Good luck.

  • u were great !

  • Hey, thank you :-)

  • Karlie, Great stuff! Your flamenco and classical background (with bosa nova included) shows. Keep up the wonderful work. (I approach it not quite as catholicly--check my video)

  • Thanks you. You are much closer to the real roots of the blues :-)

Flamenco is much closer to my home as America, so do not wonder if I'm influenced by it :-)

  • I really like ur work!BRILLIANT!

  • Thank you and greetings to China :-)

  • you r a great musician

Listening to your stuff is a good way to learn as well as relax. Any time.

  • This is great.

  • Thanks mate.

  • I wish I had one tenth of your talent.

  • Thank you.

Most of it is exercising not so much talent.

  • Very nice. The Blues are delivered in many, many ways. The sound of nylon Blues is a welcome change. Deliver more please!

  • Thank you.

Its quite a work to make videos and time is a bit a problem but I will do some other. Promised :-)
