Get your Class B license. Titanium Salutes, which is a mortar as shown, is easy 2 times louder than that. And a Thunder King, a cake, fires 25-100 Titanium Salutes. Well worth the time and effort if you enjoy pyrotechnics.

wolfenbreed, a lot of these comments like "put them upside down" are from some dumbs ass kids. They think this is a Single shot mortar, also called thunderking. But the one you light in this movie is a 2" thunderking from bonrbidge right? One tube, with 12 shells. You have to reload after every shell. Peoply who are saying you have to put them upside down don't even know what the fuck they talking 'bout. It would be dumb to put a shell upside down in the mortar.

I like mini thunders better. They are pretty mcuh m-80's and m-200's in a tube. These are cool though too. Guy at stand let me light a rocket off that looked like a ping pong ball at the end and those things are wild. It went completely the wrong way and shot off. Never buying those.

i would say that you can get thunder kings anywhere but the big warehouses that sell fireworks. stay away from black cat stands because they usually wont have them. the cost for a thunder king where i live is about $1.25 and for a double shot it is $2.00

Nah they are not quite green balls ktroy, they actually look like miniature silos (tall cylinders with cone tops), you can see the cone top hit the ground on the left after the vid is over ;) As far as shipping, I'm sure Cook County prohibits the transport of such evil little explosions :)

I doubt it... the thunderking in this vid is much larger and more expensive than the ones we have in Holland. In Holland we pay 5,9 dollars for 6 shots, and in US 25 dollars! I bet the ones in US give a much louder bang.

Actually I used a valuta-converter and 25 dollars is 16,80 euro. For that same money you can buy 4 × 6 Thunderkings in Holland. But it's hard to judge about the bang (thunderking in video vs dutch thunderking). I think the Thunderkings in Holland are loud enough (matches a nitrate = 2 grams of flash).

Thunder Kings are no more illegal than any other class C firework. It's simply a mortar with all of it's powder dedicated to BOOMING, not colorful explosions.

They have flash in them instead of black powder. No stars for color.
