  • 0-100 = 5.3 seconds

  • @Nebla86 its 4,6 s

  • @HeavyStunk1942 i timed 5.2 with Sony Vegas slow motion dosnt lie

  • The coolest launch ever. Even better than the space shuttle.

  • Notice how he is going sideways and full throttle. Good that the car has great balance, otherwise say hello to the bend.

  • M3 Take Off :P :D

  • how do u set when it will launch? and how does it make a difference?

  • Glad to hear you don't do it when the engine is cold! Some people have absoloutely no care for nice cars like the M3. It sickens me to see a great car in pain! The speed limiter on the M5 is 175mph but what is it on the M3? For all the M Cars BMW say they are limited to 155 but as I said, M5 proven at 175mph. What a great place to do it!!!!!

  • @SomeRandomer123 who cares of that limit lol, if i would have money on e90 m3 i would defenetly supercharge that with ecc and make it 600 hp

  • Holy Crap! That looks bloody quick!!! Heard the gong at 0:09, what was that telling you? Do you have to wait for the transmission to cool before you can do it again? And will it let you do it while the engine is cold? We have a 330d at the moment and that is a quick car. But that M3 is biblically fast!

  • its a speed warning when u exceed selected speed,, it does not allow you to do more than 1 launch together, u have to wait but I never calculated the time. I never tried it when the engine is cold its not recommened by pure logic.

  • @SomeRandomer123 He most likely put the speed chime at 100km/h so he knew how fast he accelerated

  • these smg e92 m3's are doing 0-60 in 3.6 sec

  • the DCt gear box is wayyyy faster then the regular 6spd. also de-limited the DCT will doo 300+ km/h but to upgrade the m3's drivetrain upgrades doing a clutch is easier on the regular 6spd.

  • i think DCT is alot faster. not doubt, i think manual is more fun. but just to get better time, DCT would be my choice. besides, u wont be scared of messing up a a heel toe and not being able to turn at a curve... lol

  • @tristantao Exactly, and even F1 racers use automated clutches now. It's just that much faster and predictable.

And manuals are more fun but if we wanted something to have "that" kind of fun in, we definitely wouldn't choose a $70,000 car.

  • omg he's sliding when its shifting ?

    why

  • Traction is off

  • i know but i dind't know that its sliding

    btw: very nice car

  • Thank U :)

It depends on the street and weather

  • btw in witch country you have make this video ?

  • Abu Dhabi - UAE

  • ahhh yess....dubai is the land i used to call home...but unfortunatley since im not arab i wasnt granted permanent citizenship...thats changed now...but now i call canada my home now. i miss dubai last visited summer 08.

  • thats M5 e60 v-10 engine...

  • dit you ever hear a m5 v-10 engine .?

  • hi,

whats the orange circle symbol that comes on when you start to slow down??

  • It's red :)

It's the 120 speed notification I think it's only in GCC countries

  • hey

is your LC set to 4500rpm

My one is set to 6000rpm

I can reduce it using cruise control buttons, But how do you change it so it always starts at 4500rpm?

  • - Thank U

    - Ur comparing V10 with V8

    - I don't think it will be as easy as u said

  • You've never driven an E92 M3 then...

  • The fastest & most advanced road-racing cars in the world are F1 cars, and they only use paddle-shifts. I've been racing for 15 years in Formula cars & go-karts myself, & as much as I love manual (love to heal/ toe), I know it will soon be obsolete to paddle-shifting to the mass performance market. Only the manual die-hard will stick to manual, but they'll get OWNED LOL.

  • Thank you for ur input it helps,, r u still racing ?

  • U never tested DCT did u ?

  • actually i have.... but manual is always better for a true driver cause it gives you a lot more control and its more fun.... personal opinion but a lot manual drivers that own paddled cars(and Im not talking about dumb, im talking paddles in lambo's and Ferrari) told me there's nothing like driving a manual car.

  • totally agree.. manual is the best

  • Yes, manual I agree is probably more fun and satisfying but I know for a fact that you don't have more control over the car. Yes in a regular auto you don't have much control but with a DSG type transmission it changes gear exactly when you push the gear level or tap the paddles and it stays in that gear until you wish to change. Because this is so much easier and quicker than a stick shift, you actually have more control over the car.

  • hmm....i really can't choose

Manual is faster but DCT is easier to drive

    guys...help me =[

  • Manual is not faster ,, actually I've seen reports that DCT is faster,, in fact that was before the software update,, after doing the update the gear shifts on my car are now faster.

  • me too. with the new update my gear shifts is really fast and confortable. i'm sure, you have to choose the new dkg gear box is fantastic.(sorry for my english).

  • are you in abu dhabi? nice cars out there!

  • Yes ,and Yes :)

  • i think M dynamic would be better

  • U cant use Dynamic with luanch control

  • oh, yes you're right, but you can launch with M dynamic with a Manual.

  • awesome awesome awesome machine...

  • fast (Y) !!

  • Yeaa

  • dude nice im getting mine in mar 09. but i think im going to get mine manuel.

  • what ever ur choise u cant go wrong
