  • for zeaus sake.this is true.simply put-if 200 is good,201 is better.THE PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD PRINCIPLE is the basis of all our training.5x5 has been used for over 125 years.lynda belling advocated this as part of her training in her book about strength training.copyrighted -1898.this is incredibly basic.lets think for ourselves!

  • First it is the progressive overload principle. Second 15 easy reps may be what is needed. You could be trying to stimulate blood flood or even perfecting technique. For the real advice on reps, see Dan John - Realistic Reps. -Cheers
