Cut cab? Why would I need that. If you are talking about the weather messing the subs up, that is what my Tonneau cover is for. It protects them from rain even when I'm pounding ridiculously hard. I put them in the BED of a 1992 Ford Ranger 2WD XLT Short Bed. And for the brands, it doesn't matter if they are all the same brand, it's not going to make a difference; if it runs 800 Watts, then it will perform as it was made. I switched the SPL820Watt with a Jensen 500Watt BTW.
