  • I feel sorry for the youth of today having not been able to be a hip hop fan during the days this came out. All 3 elements were alive and well and the music made us THINK...those were the days when record company board room peckerwoods were just starting to realize they can make some real scratch off our culture. The artists, nonetheless had some legitimate power over their product....they would get checks and do what they want and say what they want. Not anymore....that is why the music sucks.

  • @2Phaktor I wish I could thumbs up your remark a million times. you said word.

  • I just thought of something. Ruck was giving an interview to a magazine one time and the interviewer asked Ruck if his own son listens to his music? He replied saying no. And that his son loves Papoose better than his own dad. That's some fucked up shit but hey, everyone's entitled to their opinion.

  • f**kin crazy! one of the top duos in hiphop history and one of the most underrated, too! For me the Nocturnal is equal to illmatic!

  • great track from a sick album. haha..i remember that underwater sonar sound effect on sean's verse since the first time i heard it way back.

  • This was my shit right here!!!

  • i love heltah skeltah, and all of BCC, best rap supergroup ever, i love everyone else, like WU kicks ass, but lyrically street, and flow & beats, Sean P and the rest of the clik are rediculously INSANE, but just like every other group the early 90's to like 97 was the best years for BCC

  • This held me down through the summer of 96. This was when I refused to give my boy's tape back.

    Undastand!

  • haaaaaaaaa

  • @Dresknowsbest ahhh....stealing people's (and Best Buy's) tape's and discs......that takes me back

  • @Dresknowsbest word son this i was really feeling this joint

  • ahh i wanna blaze to this right now!@

  • Spark it and pass to me when your done.

  • this song is what made me love ruck and rovk.classicccc.

  • all of you mother bitch ass dudes sound like ladys who cares wu and bcc is good but 1 thing i can say bcc still makeing money lololol

  • nigga shut tha fuck up. u dont know shit about wu affiliates. jus enjoy the song and quit runnin ur mouth claimin u know more than everyone.

  • I make shit so hot boy the heat might even swelter or melt ya I nailed ya!! Wow... As hard as they were, they were really lyricists!!

    And DAMN GOOD ONES!!

    Golden Era Forever!!

  • artists tend to strive more before they get too famous,wu were great in their days.Intelligent niggas.

    Still is,by the way.

  • this album was a hip hop classic!!!!!lots of memories!!!

  • i like em both now stop tryin to choose cuz its always gonna flip flop dependin on mood

  • BCC over WU. BCC or QB

  • I'm not bias from any point of view but it depends on whom you're talking about from the Wu. Rae, Meth, Inspectah Deck, GZA, and Ghost are as lyrical as anybody in the upper echelon in the game. UGod, Master Killa, and RZA are not so much as capable. I won't even mention ODB. Lyrics weren't his main objective: shock value was. RZA is better lyrically than Killa and UGod but his flow is his downfall....Those are my observations.

  • i mean....masta killa is ill as fuck.

  • wu tang what the fuck they was on that pointless spaced out shit there music wasnt better than mobb deep or bcc rza and ghost are the only ones i would mention from the wu and they both had 2 hot lps and that was it

  • I always loved this beat. Nocturnal....classic album.

  • barber said it all!!! best beat on the album but every track was the bomb!

  • WONDERFUL beat, their best track.

  • the first 4 boot camp albums is what its all about. real hip 4 the streets

  • this whole album is classic smokin music

  • crazy beat yo!...crazy and fresh u know wadimean?

  • duckdown, bcc.... nothing comes closer!!

    ILL SHIT!

  • sry man i wouldnt say nothing comes closer... im pretty sure wutang is above all other rap ... number one on a diff level then theres all of these guys bcc , onyx, mobb deep, masta ace, blackstar

  • WHAT?!?!?!?!?

wutang is ill but BCC is by far better than the wu

the wu is not as street or lyrical as BCC

    does anyone else agree?

wutang is better live i'll give that to them

  • i agree. this is the best track on Nocturnal. This beat just makes me think of Amazon forests or some beautiful scenic shit. Then with the rugged rhymes.... pure illness.

  • Interesting you mention jungle/forest. This beat brings images of tall buildings, New York city night life, street lights restarants seedy back allys and just cruzin on the highway or streets with cigarretes and beer/weed in the air feeling mellowed out with your best friends.

  • you're absolutely right man, that's how i feel everytime i listen to my copy. especially soldiers gone psycho. for me, that track really defines 'nocturnal' and the grimey image and sound. best album ever right here.

  • crazy shit

  • Best track from Nocturnal. I would've uppeded the song, but now that you uploaded it, i don't have to now.

  • That shit is fa real!
