  • Hitler:A Bad Leader Who Cares More About Killing children And Adults More Than Feelings!!!

  • Hitler ant no good leader he kill Jews gays blacks and frecking disable people what kind of leader kill disable people!!

  • HITLER WAS A PILE OF SHIT AND DESERVES TO LIVE AGAIN SO I CAN KILL HIM AGAIN!

  • @XRandomXMissesX you never killed him in the first place....." DESERVES TO LIVE AGAIN SO I CAN KILL HIM AGAIN! "...you never killed him

  • @XRandomXMissesX Hitler did live again. He was Voldemort, man!

  • @Spartacus217 what good did hitler do?

  • @HappySadFace1997100 Im sure that commenter was just trying to be factual in the fact that Hitler was an effective dictator. He led Germany out of a depression, united Germany for the first time and created a swelling sense of nationalism in the disillusioned public in Germany at the time, post-World War I. Of course, this was all at the expense of the Jews, who were persecuted and used as scapegoats to make his plans work, but from a purely factual perspective, yes, Hitler was an amazing leader

  • No idea the actress that plays the mother wasn't actually a Brit.

  • @tovahification RIGHT??!

  • No one mentions all the good things Hitler did.

  • @Spartacus217

That's because the good things he did paled in comparison to the bad things.

  • @KaikiTsuki49 Point well taken.

  • like what?

  • I love you all u touched my heart and i cried DX

  • if i could go back in time i will stop war and hitler befor he did this to people

  • Heres how the movie should have ended. The guy that bombed the grandparents house goes rampant and blows up the "shower room" but only 1 wall is destroyed and they all escape.Wait.Naked people going against their captors?Huh AMISTAD!!!!!!!

  • Mark-You did an AMAZING job!!

    Asa-Your accent is soo cute!

  • @lizbut03 I agree, but I have seen another movie also which is quite sad, called Give it forward or something, can not recall, but no matter, it is both of the films quite sad because in both films die protagonist but the stay with the stripes pyamas dies both Bruno and Shmuel. Both films are insanely sad: (

  • I wish to bring Hitler alive, just to make him see this movie

    Now I can't stop crying.

  • Luv this movie made me cry during the while movie at the end was so sad what they held hands to make them feel like they werent alone when they died but I'm glad it was just a movie

  • I NEVER SAW SUCH A SAD MOVIE MOSTLY THE END AND HOW IT ENDED LIKE THAT

  • oooh this is not the saddest movie u can watch. there is another movie it's about the life of pope but they show a good bit of worl war ii which is also shown in a very very sad way but htere are some good bits

  • i cryed at the end its so sad! :( its a wonderful movie!

  • I Don't get the ending can someone explain it to me

  • @sabzo100 at the end they both die because bruno and schmoel joined incidentally with the prisoners to be killed in the gas chamber... ahh very sad movie but speaks the truth T.T

  • @sabzo100

Bruno joins Shmuel in the camp and to help look for Shmuel's dad, and they both end up going to the gas chambers.

  • I admire John Boyne for writing this book. I love how he writes it in the eyes of a naive child, even though it's in the 3rd persons point of view.

  • I bawled.

  • i dont think anyone was expecting that kind of ending. I sure didnt. I thought it was going to end happier. Boy was i wrong. Its still an amazing movie and it shows you what happened in the holacaust(sorry i dont know how to spell that) It made me cry so hard in the end. Asa butterfield and jack scanlon did an amazin job!!!

  • i know its so sad

  • I really never thought the movie would end like that.

  • Lietuntant Kotler ya ride

  • They were amazing actors for these parts at this age.

I cried so much at the end .

  • why do half of the people call it pyjamas its pajamas pa not py.

  • @sammyg104 english people spelly it 'pyjamas' and americans spell it 'pajamas' i think.

  • @sammyg104 its spelt differently in different countries

  • this movie is soo sad and a really good movie too! ♥it! :( sad!

  • i was in shock after i finish reading the book i didn't cry or anything, i just sat there, staring at the last page of the book for about ten minuts then my dad came to turn the lights of but i didn't sleep at all that night. i haven't seen the film yet but i really went too, i'll probably see it when my sisters older.

  • @muslov21 is the end of the book sad??? im on page 80.. and its seems like a good book, my dad wants to read it as well.

  • @thedayifellinluv yeah the ending is really sad but it's still a really good book

  • @muslov21 me too i was really in shock after seeing the end of the movie but not reading the book cause i don't have it. I was really in shocked but i didn't cried. I think it really had an effect on us.

  • I didnt cry during the film (although it made me very distressed) because i read the book first and knew what was going to happen. But when i finished reading the book for the first time, i cried all night. Such a sad but important story.

  • amazing film :)x

  • i have three words LOVE THIS FLIM

  • If a being suffers, there can be no moral justification

for not taking that suffering into consideration, no

matter the nature of the being in question.

  • @machinima881 not nice. not nice at all

  • Never will I forget

  • Dude what the fuck oscovella or whatever the fuck ur name is... Who gives a shit about that... The kids an amazing actor and will be more succesful then you will ever be in ur life...

  • i watched this at school and i cried so much... they both died

  • i cried soo much i have the whole movie iin my head

  • love this movie but is very sad...

  • I was with my brother's girlfriend's family when I saw this movie, and during the search for Bruno began, I started to feel myself cry until the end, and covered my face with my sweater. They have a 5 year old son and he kept pointing out that I was sad, and that just made me cry more :( Love the movie, Vera is fantastic and the music so beautiful..

  • The ending makes the entire movie. If the ending sucks, the entire movie sucks. In other words; FUCK THAT MOVIE! Fuckers made me cry. X'{

  • Obviously the holocost part was true but the storyline isnt thank god if a family went through that omg i cant imagine

  • y they made this film .feels like some one shot bullet throught my heart . i could not cry in front of my friends thats made my fellings worst

  • Lieutanant Kotler killed Pavel didnt he????

  • @VI0L3T45 we r watching this in school and thats the part we left off of and it seemed like it i hate that man!!!!! X(

  • @VI0L3T45 Yes Pavel was beat to death. ): I was so saddened I cried! Pavel was so sweet!

  • @VI0L3T45 yes, after the situation happened, that was the blood the lady was cleaning up from the floor, :'(

  • @Oskadella69 Aweh fuck you

  • a movie to remember!!!

  • Hehehe, I liked it. Scratch that, I loved it. XD Deliciously grotesque. Hehehe, when the father and mother were screamin', I was like, "Tsh, stinks for you." LOL God, I'm trying not to laugh. XD

  • @rachel25lee Your a fucked up peice of shit aren't you?

  • @rachel25lee haha wow

  • @rachel25lee Troll.

  • Marion133, why thank you. XD ~♥

  • @rachel25lee -__-

  • skegness donkey ride

  • i had an odd connection to this movie. i have a 10 year old brother who looks quite a bit like shmuel, and in fact that is his hebrew name. to be able to connect to the character as more than a character, but a brother was amazing. to think that only decades before this we could be in concentration camps in haunting to me, to be able to look at shmuel and connect to a brother;

  • back then it didnt mater whether u were a boy, girl, child,or,over 70,80,even higher yrs of age... its like u wanna go back in time and just change all tht happened!

  • @iheartbubbles12ily jews are/were only persecuted on the basis of jealousy-they are clever, successful people and people were jealous-it sounds very naiive of me, but in essence thats what it was-in my mind anyway...

  • @KamInkorporate So true

  • ITS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SAD I KEEP CRYING HELP

  • @prettybaby164 the reason he killed himself was that the red army [Russians] were heading straight to berlin and he knew he would lose so he killed himself

  • YOUR ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I seen this movie and left the cinema in stunned silence, it's so heart warming, funny, thoughtful and the friendship of the two boys keeps you glued, Then read the book. This was a terrible part of world history that no one should forget. Where millions were murdered.

  • such a sad movie. it a very good movie.

  • They are so perfect and so cute!!!

  • I'm STILL depressed after watching this movie for the first time.

And I've seen it heaps of times!

  • This movie changed my life. Even a German child knew what the NAZIS did was very wrong. Like Vera Farmiga said, "Bruno Reveals alot of flaws in the adult world." To hear what the NAZIS did, is one thing.... but to see it...that's a whole different story</3

  • this is such a SAD =`( movie but.....great actinng (Y) <3

  • it is sad but has a good message.

and they are still so cute. :)

  • its really sad.. specially the end

  • i kind of liked this movie but i really didn't get the end

  • this is a very sad movie!

  • why did hitler kill himself?

  • @PrettyBaby164 Because he was a coward and he knew that he would of got what was coming.

  • @PrettyBaby164 because, if he hadnt of he would have been brutley tortured himselve for what he had caused. he over dosed on drugs and what not.. he was an insane man..

  • @TheIndependantgurl13

WTF people actaully want to see this movie without allready knowing what's gunna happen you dumdfuck!!

  • Okay guys you can hate, but don't diss hitler and the Nazi party if you don't know the back story behind it

  • @Exiledthebeast its not hating everyone knows hitler was a brutal murder. now hitler did hate for no reason at all

  • this sounds awful but it really angers me that hitler committed suicide. it's almost like he won in a way, or at least didn't get what he deserved. he should've been kidnapped and tortured, instead of taking his own life at his own will.

i visited berlin with my school a year ago and we went to all the concentration camps and it was so horrible :'(

R.I.P to all those killed in the holocaust

  • it is sad and fuck Hitler. i am glad he committed suicide.

  • this movie left me depressed really bad i cant watch this to much

  • i was depressed for days after watching this :(

  • this was a powerful film,

the end of the movie changes the perspective of the father.. i think

it teaches you that the german people did not know about these camps

Great acting so much that you get sucked into the movie

  • Oh man, love this film!

  • dat movie ws so sad and i knew bruno waz goin to pass away cuz my sis kept tellin me dat i was goin 2 b surprised wen i found out which boi was goin 2 get killed. Both of them past away

  • He's 13 ^^

  • How Old Is Asa Butterfield Now ? xxxx

  • the jews always perpetrate their major frauds during chaotic periods while the masses are disheveled such as 1945. In 1939 the author William Dudley Pelley published "The 45 Questions Most Frequently Asked About the Jews" which detailed how the number of jews inside America skyrocketed from 4 million to 12 million during the 1930s. Nearly all of the european jews were deported prior to WW2. The modern-day jews abandoned their purported messiah to act as their own messiah thru the art of lying.

  • Great movie, it really show's you the terrible thing that happened. Very sad.

  • i hate the ending So much i usaly skip it i cry badly. Its so sad what Natizez did. His dads work killed bruno :'( AND SHMOAR!! D:

  • this is very sad story,it makes my heart so sad.

  • I love that checkers seen. It made me laugh. :) Cutiessss

  • pavel was ma favorite

  • i have NEVER cried with a movie, but in this movie, ive cried my guts out.

  • this movie is sad....i could stop crying

  • This movie is so sad that i kept on crying when i was sleeping............And i am a boy. How 'bout that

  • thats so sad i kept on crying

  • @GLopezWebkinzVmkLove thats mean

  • britgabsteph- so is killing 11 million people! plus- david thewlis is awesome xD

  • i am doing a project on the boy in the striped pyjamas.

    It is sooooooooooooooo saad :'(

Both of the boys are just soo lovely!

  • tributechanHollywood- how can you extend the ending if he died?

  • isnt asa butterfield in merlin as well?

  • @Crazy2418

    Yeah. He plays Mordred.

  • this movie was so sad i cried and cried it is so sad

  • @JTfan111 same here.

i watched this movie in school and managed to hold it in untill the bus ride/walk home...then it ALL came out.

  • @JTfan111 me toooo :'(

  • @JTfan111 keep saying in your mind : its just a movie.... its just a movie

  • @Evankernee1 ikr its just a movie

  • @VI0L3T45 Just a movie? How can you be that way? It's not just a movie. Sure, the characters aren't real and Germans didn't speak with English accents but, what they did in the camps was real, the beatings and slavery were REAL, THE DEATHS WERE REAL. Have you no empathy? No soul? It's NOT just a movie. It's a warning. We cannot let this happen again. Never forget, never repeat.

  • ...Only if I was living in those times... I'd probably be a big part of History!

"Brittney, She was attempting to save the jews and killed over a thousand Germans in concentration camp... Some of the jews escaped, and still might be living today" I told my bro i'd sneak him out instead of going in there he's cuteee! =]

  • the ending was kind of abrupt. I'm so going to read this book. really wonder how this really ends

  • The book made me watch the movie. You should really read it, it's one of the few books i like. Ending is even better in the book then in the movie

  • I agree. The ending happened really fast and I wished it would have been extended a little bit. But overall, I loved the film and the perspective through a child's eyes.

  • The ending of the book is, in some ways, even more abrupt. I think it adds to the effectiveness of the story overall, as it never explicitly states what happens to the two boys.

There is a little context of what happens to the family in the years after, though.

    I would definitely recommend reading!

  • ive read it. That is how it ends lol

  • jack scanlon was adorable in this he prtrayed really well too

  • It's a very sad story, I'm pretty sure some real stories in that time were more horrible. German Nazis use to burn people and use part of them as much as possible: selling gold teeth, make brushes from their hair, make soap from their fat. It's cruel real history. And there is continuation in Afganistan, Iraq, etc. Sad :(

  • i cried like baby at the end when they dies in the gas chamber. it happened and its happening again, dont u just hate the fact that history repetes itself. Its like were all a bunch of nuckle heads that never seem to learn from our mistakes...

  • I am a 15 yr old boy and even I cried at the end of this movie it is so sad bcause I put myself and my best friend in the kids slots and I would do the same for my friend. I'm glad it's not a true story... But a very good movie indeed

  • one of my favorite movies :) sooooo sad though. i cant belive they actully did that to innocent people!! :'(

  • i no david hayman :)

  • PAVEL PAVEL btw I NO ASA!

  • did anyone know that there are nazis in America now? ya its horrible. they still believe Jews hsould be punished. what is the world coming to?

  • nazis being in america isnt new haha

  • Yes, they've always been around, unfortunately.

In fact, about a month ago, there was a Nazi convention in Greensboro, where i go to college. It really hit home - It was terrifying just knowing there were a bunch of them organized in the same town i live in :(

  • I CANT IMAGINE HOW SCARED YOU MUSTVE BEEN! ya nazis have a really big effect on me bc my greatgreat grandpa was a german-jew and he was killed by nazis. thats just crazy. nazi convention, ugh i shudder at the thought.

  • coming to? nazis still exist in other countries too and have for a very long time.

  • you dont have to be rude about it. im not really into apocalyptic subjects...

  • not into or just too ignorant to learn about history?!

  • not into. and its not history if u r saying that there are nazis in america TODAY

  • What?! how old are you? you're stupid.
