  • HOW CAN GOD ALLOW THIS?

  • "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."

As a fellow Vietnamese born in the U.S., I am sad that someone as kind as Annie had barely begun to live her life. My thoughts and prayers goes out to Annie's family as well as her fiance.

    May you RIP Annie Le.

  • How vulnerable are we,

How dark can one's soul be?

    R.I.P Annie Le

  • "This is all well and good, but what should

we do if, heaven forbid, we were being robbed?

Chief Perrotti recommended that, for our personal

safety, we cooperate within reason and

then call it in immediately. In the meantime,

make as many observations as possible regarding

clothing, facial hair or distinct facial details

(if unmasked), and other physical features."

  • "As an illustration of tip #6, Chief Perrotti

pointedly provided us with an exclusive look

at his wallet, a small leather fold with a little

cash, drivers license, and only one credit card.

'Chances are, you dont need all the stuff in your

wallet on a day-to-day basis,' he commented."

  • Here's how Le describes describes those SIX directives in the article:

"The Chief provided us with these handy tips for crime prevention:

    1. Pay attention to where you are.

    2. Avoid portraying yourself as a potential victim.

    3. Do not be distracted by ipods and phone calls.

    4. Reduce your exposure (use the Yale escort and shuttle services).

    5. Walk with a purpose.

    6. Keep a minimum amount on your person."

  • What's not reported anywhere is HER TONE IN THE ARTICLE; it is somewhat cynical towards, and in her interview with, Yale Police Chief James Perotti, in response to his somewhat vague responses to her questions re: campus safety directives.

Le is last seen entering the lab building Tue Feb 8, subsequently reported missing by her roommate on Wed Feb 9 (to date, suspect Raymond Clark III is STILL not arrested!), YET the Yale Police didn't close that building's access UNTIL FIVE DAYS LATER? WHY?

  • annie god bless you!! rest in peace! rest in peace...

  • RIP Annie :(

  • I am very saddened by this tragic situation. I am American but my wife is Vietnamese and I have been to Vietnam to see her family twice, so this story hits home a bit.

Psalm 34:18 says "The Lord is near to those who are of a broken heart." My hope is that Annie's loved ones will find comfort and salvation in Christ. My heart goes out to Annie Le's family, fiancee and friends.

  • Poor Annie. Only a crazy person could do that to her :(

  • My prayers are with that beautiful woman and her family and friends. I always hate when something so senseless has to happen. Just isnt fair because she had so much life left to live. God Bless her

  • R.I.P Annie Le, San Jose will always get your back = (

  • RIP Annie Le.

  • My thoughts and prayers go out to her family, fiance, and friends. RIP Annie
