@paulaxa1 oh and btw during the time I havent played crisis core and Im watching the gameplay at youtube I thought that crisis core is no good but on second thought, I want to play it because it was nominated as BEST GAME of 2008 and it won and I was not disappointed because the game is good :)) or If you want buy both games so that you wont have any problem choosing between the two because both games are good haha :))

@paulaxa go for crisis core and you'll surely love it =)) it'll reveal what happened before final fantasy VII but you'll have Zack as your main protagonist. Enjoy the game!

@paulaxa1 if you base your gaming more on graphics then I guess you should go on dissidia but crisis core got CG cutscenes too which has good graphics also. Well the reason I like crisis core is because of its story and to know what happened before ffVII, I just watched ffVII advent children last week lol. Im a huge ffVII fan :)) Crisis Core rocks!

@paulaxa1 Nope, zack's sword is default but it'll change when he's upgraded to SOLDIER 1st Class but you can buy materias and potions while you can gain accessories and other materias by doing missions and in the midpart of the game you be able to fuse materias to make a stronger one :))

@Mophead800 final fantasy 8 was what i first started out with and in my opinion its the best one, its on the ps1 though, but yeah years ago i played that one and i fell in love with it

@Mophead800 Ok so ANY Final Fantasy game that you start out with will be good. The stories never relate to each other (other than Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2) and so you can just jump in any time. The best of the best, as I've heard, go Final Fantasy VII (7), Final Fantasy X (10), Final Fantasy VIII (8). The rest fall in after that, but truly the last good game was FFX. The latest release on the ps3 was crap. I might suggest FFX first, and then FF7. Have fun!

Crisis core in terms of gameplay is way better. Now this one doesnt look bad because its diferent of other final fantasy games, this one is a fighting type. at least thats what i can see on this gameplay. Anyway i preffer Crisis Core, but this is also a good gameplay.

I personaly suggest this game is because it has more skills .. In Crisis Core the graphics are better but not much fighting styles Btw i might get dissidia but can you play as other characters besides cloud strife or whoever that was you were playing as?

depends on what you like. if you have played kingdom hearts,and liked it(like everybody else),then you should get dissidia. if you like a little real time playing and a mix with the older final fantasies,go with crisis core. i actually like dissidia better though.

Dissidia is shit compared to Crisis Core. I have both and Crisis Core has an awesome story, gameplay and graphics. Dissidia is just a brawler. Fight with the FF characters and win items, its that simple and boring. I quit playing this game after two weeks, what a shame. Expected more out of it.

'don't expect too much' Thats bullshit. The expectations are getting higher and higher for the PSP as everyone wants the games pushed to the limit. Tekken 6 and especially 5 worked outstandingly on the PSP while Dissidia fails to grab the same.

Ever seen Crisis Core's graphics, GoW graphics, Resistance Retribution graphics?? Those graphics are what we want to see more in games on the PSP. Never said I expect PS3, did I? Dissidia lacks not just graphics, but the great fighting experience that does give Tekken and Soul Calibur.
