I like how Jeremy got a big kick out of the one that'd been shot. I live in America, and when we were driving on a gravel road there was a sign posted saying that beyond that point, we'd be on private property and that we were being monitored by a camera. Above the sign, was a camera. We had a gun with us at the time (as a matter of fact we had two, a .22 rifle and a 12-gauge shotgun) and we considered blowing the camera away. Just as a message to the owner, to be a bit less of an asshole.

I bloody well Love the Netherlands. I am British and used to live on an army barracks in Germany and would pop over to the Netherlands a fair bit. Beautiful country with great people! One of my fav parts of driving between Britain and Germany is the times in Holland! There is a camera in the town my parents live in near Nottingham, which has a camera which has been shot, has at least 20+ dents, prangs and holes, plus burning out.

Nothing wrong with the speed cameras, if they are clearly marked. Then people can choose to slow down and avoid being fined.

Coppers cowardly hiding in the bushes is an whole different thing. If they wanted people to slow down they would want to be as visible as possible. They are just collecting money from people.
