  • Rooney coundn't lace Clarke's boots.

  • @sebastiansap2003

Rooney can't even lace his OWN boots!

  • @spacecowboy7580 True. LOL.

  • i know his son

  • Nothing in premiershit in the same league as this ice cool finisher

  • knew a club doctor of a football club

-in one game Clarke was carried off with a suspected broken leg. The doctor on coming out of treatment room, was asked by a passing opposing player

    "Is it broke doc?"

    "No, just very badly bruised"

    to which the player replied

    "Oh, that's a pity".

The doctor asked the player why he should be so cynical, and he replied that Clarke was a very unpopular player in Division 1 at the time-arrogant,

foul-mouthed, niggly fouls-just a nasty piece of work

  • great player, but mainly hated, and held in very low respect by his fellow professionals

  • @darkmossie633 How do you know that he was held in very low respect by fellow professionals? Who told you that, and why if so?

  • allan clarke what class

  • This man was pure class. Elegant. Arrogant. Self centred. Mean - and made goals look like art. Wonderful.

  • BELIEVE ME...one of the best! Allan Clarke was a legend and a decent guy...

I played professional sport too - a fast bowler for the West Indies in the late 1980's...we all loved Leeds and respect to my favourite player Sniffer!

  • Who put the ball in the Arsenal net?

    Allan Allan Clarke!

  • OH MY GOD! DELICIOUS...............

  • After Jimmy Greaves the best finisher

  • @mickyp1960 - quite correct. They don't make 'm like Sniffer any more.

  • What a team they were.

  • When he came from Leicester he seemed a bit selfish. But Don moulded into one of the best strikers in Europe.

I was at Wembley in 72 when he scored that great goal.Good player, but took Leeds down in 81 as manager.

  • Why do people put songs over the top of commentary?

  • in my opinion the greatest all round striker ever to wear the white shirt

  • better than john charles?? i think not!!

  • super Leeds who put the ball in the Arsenal net Alan Clarke

  • is he dead

  • Nope.

  • wots the song called

  • Cushy. I'm not LUFC, but they had a great team for many years and should've won a lot more trophies than they did. I rather think you never saw AC or that team.

So stop being a fucking moron and saying he wasted his career. He had a great career you nonce.

As for Don Revie, well, again, you know fuck all.

  • An english friend told me that they were a cheat team; Don Revie left the national team to go to United Emirates; I like leeds united but i don't like this way to win matches; They 're in League One now; i hope they'll be back in two years in the premiership.

heysel stadium = innocent fans killed by the liverpool scum.

hillsborough= more dead because of liverpool scum.

  • Excellent vid. I grew up on our team of the 70s, and aside from "the lash" - "Sniffer" was the god! You do a good vid.

    Once Leeds, always Leeds.

    MOT

  • Total legend and my all time hero. Time seemed to stand still when he was in front of goal.

  • My Favourite all-time Player. Sniffer was born to score goals.

Still see him at Elland Road on matchdays.

    A true legend.
