  • wow all that work and you cant even cut a nice hole for the speaker

  • @kirklandlol ahahah! you're right! It's the hardest part anyway... LOL

  • first u can try to learn how to play guitar!!!

  • @kirren97 first you can try to learn how to live, nipper...

  • @66blades66 hahahahaha

  • where can i buy th ruby amp kit ive been looking and am having a hard time finding them. thanks

  • Try finding a 4 incher without the rolled surrounds. Speakers with rolled surrounds are great for stereos, but tend to sound a bit muddy on a guitar amp. Keep that existing speaker for some other project however, it looks pretty well built.

  • Thank you very much, I will try!

  • Complimenti!!! Che cassa hai utilizzato?? Intendo la potenza e l'impedenza...grazie ciaooo!!

  • è una cassa ricavata da diffusori per pc, credo di una decina di watt, 8 ohm. grazie mille per i complimenti

  • how do you make a cigar box amp?

  • Take a cigar box, then follow the RUBY project on runoffgroovre.con, some easy components to solder and it and it will done. It was the first time for me... Thanks for watching

  • @66blades66 what are the things called "15n" and "47n"

  • @zperuna the 47n is a capacitor, while there is no 15n element, maybe you men 1M5? in that case is a resistor

  • @zperuna the 47n is a capacitor, while there is no 15n element, maybe you mean 1M5? in that case is a resistor

  • Ten Years Gone :) I'm a big Led Zeppelin fan. Sweet :)

The sound itself is sometimes a bit too crounchy, but for a such small amp it's just great. Are batteries okay to use for this amp?

  • I'm a big LedZep fan too... Thanks for your appreciation, yes, it works with 9 volts batteries, with long lasting life. And yes, it is crunchy, but you have to consider the very little speaker.

  • so wats is a ruby circuit? i would like to learn more about it

  • You're getting a particularly nice clean tone out of your amp. What sort of pickup are you using?

Nice work...I love the Ruby circuit. :)

    Eric

  • Thanks Eric, it is the humbucker of a Gibson Les Paul Studio, you can ear a little crunch sound for that reason. It is not really clean, in my thought.

  • nice, just the raw sound I l like. I got to make one of those.

  • Thanks for your appreciation, it is really easy to do, I had NO experience about electronic components, only about cigars... ;-)
