It was announced that the U.S. road traffic safe office (NHTSA) will be recalled by the defect of * handle equipment on the 26th about 139,500 2011 type sonatas produced at the Hyundai factory in Alabama, U.S. (local time).
All the produced cars have been applicable from December 11, last year to September 10, this year, and this hits all the new style sonatas produced in the U.S.
* A defect like the conte that a handle can be taken during a "defective of handle equipment" -> run
People talk about Hyundai and kia as if they are a little shit brand just starting to rise up in the market. As you all know Hyundai and Kia is the same company, being the 5th biggest automaker which means that It is larger than most Japanese brands like Honda, Nissan and Mazda only Toyota is the one that is bigger than Hyundai and Kia.
My family and I have owned 5 Hyundai's now. They saeem to last longer and cost much less than Hond or Toyota. Don't get me wrong, Honda/Toyota's are great, I drove Honda for years. Hyundai just gets better gas mileage (by far!!), look a lot better, perform better, better warranty. It's just the people who care about what people think of them that don't try the Hyundai product, and you now it!!!
I'm in love with the Sonata... It looks so friggin sexy. If I won a Mercedes S65 AMG, I'd sell it and buy the Sonata, then keep the rest for other investments... LOL

Adding on to the topic, Hyundai is expecting to increase their car prices. Because Hyundai-Kia is in South Korea, they use mostly South Korean derived parts. With that said, Hyundai is making even more profits with less production costs.
"Increasing resale value" is not the same as claiming it has the highest resale value. I hope Korea does shine one day but it needs to be original in their design work and refinement otherwise it get's mocked. I always buy Honda because I won't get stuck with expensive mechanics bill. It's NOT a perfect car & it has it's minor irritants like a flickering instrumentation. It has this clicking noise underneath which nobody can trace. Kia and Hyundais need to work on their refinement - handling and suspension...that's the common theme in many reports and I did my homework before i bought my last honda. They will eventually get there but I don't like how they are rushing to get there...cutting corners.

The Koreans are really the next Japanese type car manufacturer who starts slow in North American and then moves up the ranks. Honda used to enjoy the rapid increase in success like this back in the days when it made NSX, S2000, Integra, Prelude and CRX; those cars had some special attributes about them. We just bought one today, cant beat the price. The deal paid off our Honda Accord and gave us $900 bonus cash. Then we got him to go down an additional $1000 plus our down payment of $2000. A great bang for the buck value compared to other cars in this class.

For all those people who think Hyundai's are crap. Well I've got news for you. My dad sold his $80,000 Audi A8L and replaced it with a loaded 2011 Hyundai Sonata. He loved his Audi but wanted better gas mileage as he just uses his car to drive to the airport. Sonata gets awesome gas mileage and is WAY cheaper to insure and maintain. The MUCH MUCH MUCH larger Sonata gets better gas milage than a Mazda2 with automatic on the highway. I think the crash test ratings are really what seal the deal for Hyundai. Under the 2011 MUCH more stringent NHTSA ratings, it achieved an overall 5 star rating, and it also got an almost perfect rating from the IIHS. The Sonata even has ACTIVE HEADRESTS that prevent whiplash in rear crashes. The only thing that would make the Sonata perfect would be more steering feedback.
You will probably want to AVOID ADVANTAGE HYUNDAI at all costs!!! Advantage Hyundai is located at 430 Plainview Rd in Hicksville, NY. We purchased a used 2007 Sonata from them and the engine just seized. We have to sue to get them to fix it since they claim all the engine Gunk was our fault but running a CarFax we found out that Hertz owned the car & they drove almost 27,000 miles in less than a year. Of course Hyundai never informed us of this fact.
The Snot-Ah looks very feminine, and is truly designed for women in mind. They are directly the Snot-Ah at women buyers too. until it's dead then it shouldnt matter to you but most of us change cars every 5 to 7 years and we want

@Quartz482 Actually, according to JD Powers, Hyundai has been increasing resale value because the quality is has spiked up and because these cars are much more better than the Civic or Camry.
Adding on to the topic, Hyundai is expecting to increase their car prices. Because Hyundai-Kia is in South Korea, they use mostly South Korean derived parts. With that said, Hyundai is making even more profits with less production costs.

I hope Korea does shine one day but it needs to be original in their design work and refinement otherwise it get's mocked. I always buy Honda because I won't get stuck with expensive mechanics bill. It's NOT a perfect car & it has it's minor irritants like a flickering instrumentation. It has this clicking noise underneath which nobody can trace. Kia and Hyundais need to work on their refinement - handling and suspension...that's the common theme in many reports and I did my homework before i bought my last honda. They will eventually get there but I don't like how they are rushing to get there...cutting corners.

The Koreans are really the next Japanese type car manufacturer who starts slow in North American and then moves up the ranks. Honda used to enjoy the rapid increase in success like this back in the days when it made NSX, S2000, Integra, Prelude and CRX; those cars had some special attributes about them. Hyundai really needs those iconic products now like Honda had them in the past. Will Hyundai later represent Asia's competitive auto market competence or will the Japanese still hold that spot?

why would i want to have a mercedes benz or bmw, they all look the same. It's almost the same design for every model. Plus, it's much more expensive and it's not that much better than Hyundai. Japanese cars look the same too, and I don't like their design. American cars look too boxy although they're trying to make better designs now.
Hyundai is the car right in between all of it. It's just the perfect all around car.

For all those people who think Hyundai's are crap. Well I've got news for you. My dad sold his $80,000 Audi A8L and replaced it with a loaded 2011 Hyundai Sonata. He loved his Audi but wanted better gas mileage as he just uses his car to drive to the airport. Sonata gets awesome gas mileage and is WAY cheaper to insure and maintain. The MUCH MUCH MUCH larger Sonata gets better gas milage than a Mazda2 with automatic on the highway. I think the crash test ratings are really what seal the deal for Hyundai. Under the 2011 MUCH more stringent NHTSA ratings, it achieved an overall 5 star rating, and it also got an almost perfect rating from the IIHS. The Sonata even has ACTIVE HEADRESTS that prevent whiplash in rear crashes. The only thing that would make the Sonata perfect would be more steering feedback.

You will probably want to AVOID ADVANTAGE HYUNDAI at all costs!!! Advantage Hyundai is located at 430 Plainview Rd in Hicksville, NY. We purchased a used 2007 Sonata from them and the engine just seized. We have to sue to get them to fix it since they claim all the engine Gunk was our fault but running a CarFax we found out that Hertz owned the car & they drove almost 27,000 miles in less than a year. Of course Hyundai never informed us of this fact.

The Snot-Ah looks very feminine, and is truly designed for women in mind. They are directly the Snot-Ah at women buyers too. Women generally know less about automobiles then men, except american men of course. The seats are covered with a very ethnic styled fabric and colors. The engine is very harsh. Best choices for an inexpensive luxury performance sedans are, Camry, Accord, Mazda 6, in that order. Of course, the Snot-Ah is much better than the Ford Fussie, and Cheby Balibu.
