I like the auto-repair. Just because on vehicle maps 75% of players are engineer. So it's nice to hop into a copter as support or medic and fly a bit without worry about taking minor damage. After you get disabled, you can hop out and parachute onto your objective like chuck norris with an lmg roaring.
Last thing we need is more engineer rocket spammers because there helicopter took 2% damage from a stray machine gun.

i dont have any problems with regenerating health and vehicle regeneration stuff in BF3 because it's not really effective. It takes AGES to get fully alive and in most cases you get picked up very quickly.And i think this "Disable" stuff makes the gameplay thrilling in a good way. If you get shot to just 15% in a helicopter you have to land quick to repair it: 1) find a good place 2) do it very quick 3) make a flawless landing - or - BOOM! It's cool like it is. :)

If there is auto-repair, it certainly should not be exclusive to one of the more difficult to destroy vehicles. A good pilot can dodge fire and locks. Giving only them auto-repair would make it far easier for them to make passes on ground vehicles like anti-air and tanks while surviving, basically giving them dominance.

i think the auto repair is a bit of a balancing factor. in ever battlefield except BF3 engineers had weapons that were under powered (sorta) giving you a trade off, either fix vehicles and suck in CQB or be ok in CQB and not fix vehicles. now BF3 has given the engineers a weapon that is just as good as everyone else if not better in some cases. by having vehicles repair themselves it means that less people are going to NEED to be engineers
i hate disabling in hc but like it in normal so i think if there's no health regen disabling is annoying as shit and it should be fine till it's dead but if there is health regen disabling is good so that you actually have a chance to kill it

BF3 has made it very easy for players to connect and coordinate thanks to BattleLog, with built-in voice chat and battle reports listing player names so you can find that good teammate you were squadded with last time.
But still ... it's not as easy as it was with BC2 AT-4s :(
The disabling and auto repair are good in some areas, but they need to patch it so you can't have a mechanic sitting in your helicopter fixing you up the whole game.

Auto Repair is dumb. And I hate how disabling gives 50 more points then a destroy. That even makes less sense. Also it rids the need to use team work with an Engineer. And I think they need to rid or lower the rate of repair while inside a heli.

Auto-repair? Don't like it. If you are good with the vehicles, you are almost invincible. You still need a good engineer in a heavy fight,though.
The fight gets more intense when you need good tactics and good teamwork to stay alive and knowing you have to return to base or a safe spot to repair your vehicle.
Damavand Peak is a good example where auto-repair is useful, because the map is too small. And I don't like both.
Disabling is both really annoying and ingenious at the same time. It gives the enemy a change to get out and run away after you've been trying to destroy their vehicle which gives people the mindset of herpderping around in their vehicles because they can pop out and theoratically never die. However, it forces teamwork because if you want to see that vehicle destroyed you need a buddy or a soflam to effectively destroy the vehicle and take out the driver.
@trebliWsaaM unless you have some pretty good tank-driver/ chopper pilots with a buddy playing as an engineer in the vehicle, which makes it really hard to get them killed.
IMO The game mechanics are fine there is always a way to take someone out who is abusing some aspect. you just need a team who knows how to take these people out. Dice should have done a better job teaching people the game. Usually the single player will teach you all the ins and outs for multiplayer but dice fucked up. Ive been in some games with the enemy camping mutiple tanks, any good team would pull out rockets, c4, soflam. I was the only one trying to deal with it.
For me coming directly from BF2, my biggest annoyance is when I get shot at and go behind cover I still get hit. Some kind of lag issue. Very annoying!
I'm not a fan of auto-repair on air vehicles. They are hard enough to shoot down with a stinger they don't need the ability auto-repair too. On ground vehicles it doesn't really bother me. I guess DICE didn't want to punish someone who hopped in a tank with a class other than Engineer.

disable should either completely stop the vehicle from moving OR make it lose hp. not both. maybe just slow it down and make it lose hp. vehicle spawn times need to be longer and repair tool needs nerfing. i wouldnt mind removing the whole disable and regenerating health on vehicles...
When I first heard that vehicles repaired themselves, it seemed dumb to me. I still do now, but it helps me a lot, and that's why i have actually been using vehicles, unlike other games where i just use guns.
I don't like the Nonobots, which are repairing the vehicles. It doesn't make sence IMO. I think the implemented it, because the jets won't be such a threat. They can't land everywhere to be repaired. But I think they should cancel the auto-healing at an amount of 40%. The vehicle is moveable, but one shot could destroy it.
i say give recon its c4 back, i hate when im a sniper and theres a tank right next to me that doesnt notice me, and i cant do a thing about it except try to hide and hope it doesnt see me
I like infantry gameplay the most so IMHO the more powerful vehicles are the more useful the engineer will be compared to other kits and the more unhappy I will be so I'd like to see the auto-repair ability removed. Otherwise, please make C4 an all kit option.

I like the disable feature but I don't like the auto-repair feature. I played the hell out of BF2 and the auto-repair is a bit cheap in comparison. I think RPGs should cause more damage against vehicles to make up for that but overall the vehicles are very fun to use and I can go with the flow regarding the new changes. It's a brilliant game and I've been around since the 1942 demo on PC.
I had never thought of doing that in damavand peak, (of going into the tunnel and prone scout helicopter) and...what i always say when experiencing something new is to adapt. Change is life, and video games come out with all these sequels and all you do is just get used to what was newly implemented and enjoy what is there. But what I think of vehicles in BF3 generally, is that they are under powered than the ones in BFBC2, in my opinion of coarse.
disable mechanic is fine to me. It was kind of anoying in BC2 when you are in a humve and get 1 shot by a rocket. At least in BF3 you have a chance of surviving. In BC2 a 1 shot on an ATV is fine, that makes sence.

Auto-repair? Don't like it. If you are good with the vehicles, you are almost invincible. You still need a good engineer in a heavy fight,though.
The fight gets more intense when you need good tactics and good teamwork to stay alive and knowing you have to return to base or a safe spot to repair your vehicle.
Damavand Peak is a good example where auto-repair is useful, because the map is too small. And I don't like both.

Disabling is both really annoying and ingenious at the same time. It gives the enemy a change to get out and run away after you've been trying to destroy their vehicle which gives people the mindset of herpderping around in their vehicles because they can pop out and theoratically never die. However, it forces teamwork because if you want to see that vehicle destroyed you need a buddy or a soflam to effectively destroy the vehicle and take out the driver.

@trebliWsaaM unless you have some pretty good tank-driver/ chopper pilots with a buddy playing as an engineer in the vehicle, which makes it really hard to get them killed.

IMO The game mechanics are fine there is always a way to take someone out who is abusing some aspect. you just need a team who knows how to take these people out. Dice should have done a better job teaching people the game. Usually the single player will teach you all the ins and outs for multiplayer but dice fucked up. Ive been in some games with the enemy camping mutiple tanks, any good team would pull out rockets, c4, soflam. I was the only one trying to deal with it.

For me coming directly from BF2, my biggest annoyance is when I get shot at and go behind cover I still get hit. Some kind of lag issue. Very annoying!

I'm not a fan of auto-repair on air vehicles. They are hard enough to shoot down with a stinger they don't need the ability auto-repair too. On ground vehicles it doesn't really bother me. I guess DICE didn't want to punish someone who hopped in a tank with a class other than Engineer.

disable should either completely stop the vehicle from moving OR make it lose hp. not both. maybe just slow it down and make it lose hp. vehicle spawn times need to be longer and repair tool needs nerfing. i wouldnt mind removing the whole disable and regenerating health on vehicles...

When I first heard that vehicles repaired themselves, it seemed dumb to me. I still do now, but it helps me a lot, and that's why i have actually been using vehicles, unlike other games where i just use guns.

I don't like the Nonobots, which are repairing the vehicles. It doesn't make sence IMO. I think the implemented it, because the jets won't be such a threat. They can't land everywhere to be repaired. But I think they should cancel the auto-healing at an amount of 40%. The vehicle is moveable, but one shot could destroy it.

I like infantry gameplay the most so IMHO the more powerful vehicles are the more useful the engineer will be compared to other kits and the more unhappy I will be so I'd like to see the auto-repair ability removed. Otherwise, please make C4 an all kit option.

I like the disable feature but I don't like the auto-repair feature. I played the hell out of BF2 and the auto-repair is a bit cheap in comparison. I think RPGs should cause more damage against vehicles to make up for that but overall the vehicles are very fun to use and I can go with the flow regarding the new changes. It's a brilliant game and I've been around since the 1942 demo on PC.

I had never thought of doing that in damavand peak, (of going into the tunnel and prone scout helicopter) and...what i always say when experiencing something new is to adapt. Change is life, and video games come out with all these sequels and all you do is just get used to what was newly implemented and enjoy what is there. But what I think of vehicles in BF3 generally, is that they are under powered than the ones in BFBC2, in my opinion of coarse.

disable mechanic is fine to me. It was kind of anoying in BC2 when you are in a humve and get 1 shot by a rocket. At least in BF3 you have a chance of surviving. In BC2 a 1 shot on an ATV is fine, that makes sence.
