  • I wouldn't suggest trying it like this, but just play Rock Band with the actually drum peripheral, until those break, then try sitting down at ur set and plying along!

There's a couple ways people learn drums, by reading notes, by watching it happen, or like me, learn by ear... what you hear in the song!!

No lies man, check out my channel I learned by playing rock band, all the notes really helped me learn when too play specific pieces of the set!!

Good Luck man, check my channel, you'll see

  • Tune your set bro..

  • Rockband doesnt teach you any technique bro. I mean if you plan on just playing along then by all means, but this can never be a substitute with a hands on teaching experience.

  • @coolmrnoone Actually not true, I learned from rock band! All the different timing, and memorizing the notes & knowing what those individual notes represent on an acoustic set.

So I finally sat down at an acoustic set, and all i really needed too do was get use to the different set up, other than that, I could play!! Check my channel and you'll see! All i got is Rock Band and, most recently, acoustic covers!!

  • Make it easier on yourself and move the snare between your bass pedal and hi-hat pedal. Then bring your hi-hat closer to you. You should have the snare drum between your thighs and your feet on both pedals. as if straddling a motorcycle. The floor tom (green pad) is missing but there are numerous drummers who only use a hi-hat, snare, and bass (some use even less than that). Also, raise the crash cymbal and have it hang over your lower mounted tom.

  • your hair is sick!!!!

  • awesome! I have a friend who has those drums. Just its kinda broken for the big one in the middle

  • set up the drums like a real kit, not like a rockband kit

  • omg ppl come on whats wrong with a person trying to teach himself how to play drums from a game?

  • for everyone whos thinking his drumset is hooked up its not ok..hes using it from youtube to teach himself drums...u fucking idiots

  • dampen bass drum and close hi hat

  • he was on utube on the start of the video it showed a video that ended and he just paused got a video and just recorded and the Hi-hat is waaay to far and its not even plugged in so itrs FAKE THUMBS UP IF U AGREE

  • @LouisMarshallx I did read the description dumb shit

  • @RockingCamman then how is it fake? fuck face

  • FAKE!!! The drumset isn't even hooked up to the computer! Yeah, the hi-hat is way to far away from you, dude.

  • the hi-hat its waaaaaaay to far

  • thats so fake.... thats a computer idiots

  • you need to close the hi-hat

  • asti d innocent tu voit ben que tu sais jouer le cave gerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • dude keep your foot tighter on the hihats..

  • his foot isnt on the hi-hat

  • you should take drum lesson.............and a haircut? lol

  • hey keep ur foot down on the kicker when u hit the notes... it wont hurt as much and ull play better..

  • Bad technique, it chokes the skin doing that I'm afraid.

  • you don't have a floor tom on that kit. The floor tom would be the green note when its not the crash cymbal.

The blue not is the right of the 2 toms u have mounted ontop of the bass drum.

Overall your timing was pretty bad, but keep practicing and you'll get it.

Try looking up some drumming technique vids on youtube or just play the drums without RB on for a bit, just use a metronome so u keep in time.

  • Its a fuckin youtube video type &fmt=18 for high quality and put it on full screen

  • hold down the bass pedal between notes

  • that is only a rock band tip. if you hold the bass pedal down on real drums it sort of dampens the sound

  • Hmmm... I don't know how to play drums, neither do I have any drums, but I think you should play a bit more silently with the cymbals. Just my opinion, don't know what's right or not. xD

  • I can teach you.
