who needs thirty layers of electronic sounds to compose a compelling track? Klinik did it in four and there's more depth here than in any fifty elektro tracks.
Wow! what a great rare clip! I came across the Klinik at a college dorm party in 1987 in New York (with Skinny Puppy) but never had the means to follow up until the mid 90s. Too cool. EBM/elektro never really got any better than this.
Attention Dirk Ivens fans! If you live in the New York area, be sure not to miss Dirk Ivens guest DJing at Asylum Guild (The Pyramid club, 101 Ave A in NYC) on December 13, 2008. He'll be spinning from 11pm-1am! Tell your friends! Hope to see you there!
Ich hätte ja gerne noch "Go Back" Live. Habe ich nur noch auf Kassette.
Got to say one of my faves on all of YouTube... "discovered" The Klinik at a record store in Giessen, Germany when I listened to "Fever" ep. Bought it immediately and then saw them live at The Batchkapp in 90. Awesome, awesome show...

I think they had many ideas that were before their time but then again many things were not as good as contempary bands.
Memories is still a favourite of mine, but a lot of track were simply to experimental for my taste.
