The thing is, when you join Omni-tek you get dialog from everyone praising it. When you join the clan the truth is revealed, everyone hates Omni-Tek, and just want to get rid of it.

@StrikingNinja Actually, that's wrong. The original people of Rubi-Ka left the planet when it broke apart. Omni-Tek came later and leased the place and began mining the place. The clans are simply ex-Omni workers who didn't like the company's methods. So are the Neutrals, with the only difference being those prefer peace rather than conflict.

im new to AO and got confused when playin. when your attacking do u have to keep pressing attack or do u just press it once and then it keeps attacking.

Lots of good information. If I end up playing this game he should get a commition check from AO. The narrator sounds a bit like Woody Allen, opinions vary but on whether that is an advantage or not but, personally, I think the voice some how fits the genre. Nice job!

i remember when i found this game by accident. i had no idea what i was doing in n00b island. i learned what to do by myself. you learn so much about this game when you first start. i think funcom kind of throw you into n00b island without much explanation. these videos are good for first timers for sure. AO is the best complex rpg i have played to be honest.

Noob island used to be explaned, it changed a lot, 1year and a half ago, you were in a ship and you got shot by aliens while going to RK, that's how you arrive to Noob island.. Damn i liked these days ^^

Omni is ok later on, but dont you think for noobs it would be easier for them to go neutral until they understand the game better. Neutrals arent pussies, they side with omni anyway. Neutrals are an easier way to go until you can fully grasp all the other thing to the game

i would agree, but generally someones first character is a mess and they end up deleting them anyway (that is my opinion). by the time they make their 2nd/3rd char they know much more about the game.
