Any one who watches this and thinks this is a Redbox "flaw" your wrong. Try calling up and simply asking about this before making a video saying it's a flaw with Redbox. I did and they explained! Billing zip code is so that customer service can find your account when you call in. So any 5 digits will work but if you call in with an issue you have to make sure you remember what digits you entered or they cannot confirm it's your account. No where does it say it's a security feature.
that's BUNK. your email address is your account number. i use a different zip code every time and can call any day of the week and they will find my account. thanks for watching!
I'm sure they have several means to finding your account. Email address is optional for receipts. Not everyone has a computer bud. They can not disclose certain information though without confirming it's your account. They said it was part of a federal act VPPA. Look it up. All someone needs is your credit card with the CVV number and go ape shit online anyways. You gonna complain about all online shopping websites as well and make a video about that?
no just this one as you can see it has been years since i made this video and still get responses like yours. watch it or don't watch it, use red box or don't use red box-the choice is yours...people open an account through whatever means they have if they want an account- it doesn;t concern me. thanks for watchin!
@vdotmatrix see the forest, if you don't know your credit card has been missing the amount of days to make a significant charge then you shouldn't be allowed to cross the street on your own.
This is the dumbest video ever, for one why would a crook steal your credit card to buy red box dvds? another thing most red box machines are in well lit monitored stores, and you don't use zip codes as security codes.
@RyanIndustriess I beg to differ with you. At the gas pump if you do not enter the proper billing zip code you are fucked for gasoline. Douche bags, usually punks and loosers, will try and get whatever they can during that window until the cards are discovered missing and subsequently closed. The video is an attempt to bring light to get RED BOX to address this. Thanks for your insightful critique of this video.
@vdotmatrix No problem, too bad generally people steal things worth money, instead of a overly used dvd in a small plastic case that anyone can rent for a dollar. I suppose they stole your credit card just so they could make thrifty dollar store purchases too.

@SupernautG In the couple years this video has been up your response is probably the first intelligent and thoughtful, concrete response/feedback I have gotten which probably reflects reality!! Thank you for your response!!!
All criminals are MacGyver wannabes and will steal your credit cards so they can rent from Red Box DVD. Because there's nothing else worthwhile to do with stolen credit cards.
@rob583 Redbox's are used to determine if a stolen card has been deactivated yet, before making large purchases. I know i rented from a North Carolina airport redbox on my way home to Minnesota and i got a call with in 10 min from my bank wanting to verify that it was in fact me who rented. Despite the fact i had been making purchases there all week. Another red flag for credit card security is pay at the pumps.
I bet you dollars to donuts that this putz works for Blockbuster. You want to talk about fraud? I had to pay for a movie that I had returned at a Blockbuster just because the Inept staff couldn't figure out what they did with it.
@kdixon7783c I got one also. I rented a game from Blockbuster, then I returned the game before the due date. Month goes by without any of them calling me. Looked at my monthly credit statement and they charged me full price for the game. Went there and they found it on the shelf. They paid my credit card back, but they couldn't pay the back the restocking fee. They game my credits. They refuse to cancel my membership. I just closed that credit account. Bunch of dumbasses.
Thing is kitty, you have no idea what a criminal would do and that is not the point of this video. Personally my dear catwomsn, I can give a scratch what anyone
I think if someone steals a credit card they will buy something more expensive than a DVD. I wonder if these have cameras in them like an ATM? I recommend netflix. Don't even have to leave the house.
for a dollar what kind of security do you expect? its the same thing if someone gets your credit card, learns your signature (that is on the back of your card i must add) and goes to any store to buy anything, credit cards arent as secure as people may think they are, the best way to avoid this is if your card is stolen to go get it canceled, like any sane human being would !!!!!!!!!!
I sent 'dontwalkhand' a message detailing how Redbox gets its dvds and how it hurts the studios. He has yet to reply. Most don't realize that RB and Blockbuster pay about $1or $2 to lease a dvd, and can return them for a $6 buyback. That's profit without ever renting them. Studios make their money from shared proftis from each rental. In RB's case, pennies. Independent stores typically buy thier dvds, $18. They don't like the studios snooping around their cpu's to see how much they are owed.
I worked at BB for years, that's not how it works. When the DVDs are done being rented, they're sold in the stores as used DVDs unless the specific studio doesn't want them to be, in which case, they're actually destroyed, which sucks.
Exactly, that's the reason the DVD's are destroyed. They were never BB's dvds. If the BB you worked at was different due to being a franchise or otherwise I don't know. One doesn't destroy stuff they own. Destroyed DVD's are another form of shipping them back to the studio, you have to prove you destroyed them of course. BB destroys/ships back rather than sell used due to not owning them, they make the up the differnce in used sale by leasing it cheaper anyways.
The vast majority of DVD's were sold as used. The ones we destroyed we shipped back, but not for any kind of buyback, it was just the deal the studio made with BB. And if a single DVD went missing it was a big hoopla and someone could get fired. It was crazy.
I recently bought into a small video store that a friend of mine owns. He made it clear that revenue share programs are a pain to deal with. That's why we just buy our inventory full price from Ingram, no strings attached to it that way. With rumors of the BB next town 10mi over closing, and RB/Netfilx delayed titles bussiness is starting to pick up. By the way, was that a Sega Super GT twin sitdown cabinet at the bowling center you were at?
well if you enter your pin code to your credit card, dont you think that would be more of a risk? since your pin code goes to who knows where,,, whereas a bogus zip code isnt really important
Redbox is an exceptional idea IMO. I just used one for the first time 2 days ago. I liked it. Interesting point about the zipcode. I will see if it runs next time.
My biggest concern with the system is the fact that these machines can be rigged by scammers to steal credit swipes.
The Better Business Bureau rates Redbox a D-. Our local store gives kids free lolipops, cleans the DVDs, give you a nickle or even a dime here and there, and slashes late fees to just a few dollars so long as you just fess up to the fact that you brought them back late. WB, Fox, and Universal are limiting Redbox's access to their movies. Besides. it's cold in Colorado, I prefer browsing inside a building for a Blu-Ray film, it's better than DVD.
those were the days. I remember blockbuster being swamped nearly every night of the week. It's a vending machine. I like the convenience of being able to rent and return anywhere in the country! hey thanks for your post! cheers
If you enter a 'real' incorrect zip code it won't allow the rental. If you enter a non existing, bogus, zip code it works. The software doesn't seem to know what to do with a zip code that does not exist, so it allows the rental. Seriously though, what kind of service do you expect for a $1? Rent at your local store, not Blockbuster or Redbox. At least then the money stays in your community. Hopefully Redbox dies, the studios agree.
The service is EXACTLY what it is. The DVD's you get are exactly the ones you can get anywhere else in your locality. I expect the service that I get for $1 not to have a liability of $24/DVD in the event something happens and if there is a limit of 5 DVDs, then that is an added liability one would have to deal. Local stores are few and far between in our market. REDBOX is booming.
You missed the point. I support my locally owned video store, not the studios, though I still support the studios indirectly by renting. Redbox causes the studios to lose money, Netflix knows this and has agreed to the 30 day delay for new releases. Redbox is a bitch to work with, they sue left and right, ie. Fox, WB, and Universal.
This can happen anywhere not just redbox. People can use your card to buy furniture and TVs and steal your identity. I'd rather someone get a DVD and have my bank take care of the fraud charges. And they can't start a DVD collection cuz you can only get 5 DVDs maximum lol
I am convinced people do not understand the message of this video.
They shouldn't be able to get even ONE goddamn video, let alone 5!
Why the **** are we required to enter our effin zip code if doesn't matter what the fuck numbers we enter? this is my whole point and nothing but the point, other than REDBOX can give a shit about this security flaw which still exists to this hour!
Everything goes through and then it asks me for my email address for notifications, i hit enter and it dispenses the DVD. Just like in the video above. This isn't a goddam trick or some way for anyone to try and defraud red box, it is what it is and RED BOX can give a shit.
I haven't rented movies in many months and today I rented 3. I entered for a zip code 88888 and then for the last DVD i entered 11111. I guess the issue continues.
ah, it isn't really a joke-joke with the train , it is just a little stupid humor. and i didn't remember the title of that dvd with the camera rolling and all spiderwick right i don't remember. lol
They can just as easily take that same credit card and use it at a Best Buy and buy whatever movies they want - this video is stupid - if I was a crook and had a stolen CC, I think I would be heading to the mall, not my nearest RedBox to make a movie collection....gheez - because at the mall, really, who checks for ID anymore?
Thanks for that bit of brilliance mate, don't sell yourself short, you'd make a great crook! That is not the point, whether, you being an clever criminal and all, one step smarter than the law, if someone happens to loose their CC round these parts, a security flaw exists. That's it, no hidden meaning. Round here, more and more merchants check identification, but maybe not in the puckerbrush, eh?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
stop hating you stupid fuck .. maybe you had a stolen cc and were at a local safeway and you decide to take some dvds .. its just an extra option, its the thought that counts .. not telling you what BETTER things to do with a stolen cc .. dumbfuck
as of April 26, 2009 I tried to rent a movie with my roommates cc i assumed being rommates zip was the same so I entered it and it did not let me rent the movie I called my friend for the correct zip and it was all good.....I am wondering if they fixed the problem or is just some red boxes that have the flaw....just a comment
Thanks for your update! i believe it must be a regional thing. Last night, I wanted to beat this dead horse again and rented , "when the Earth stood still" , Keaneu Reeves. And for shits and giggles, i entered ALL ZEROS again, and again, the machine vended the DVD. So, at least in our area, the issue still exits! Cheers!!!!
If you lose your credit card you are only responsible for the 1st 50 dollars of illegal purchases, and really if you notice its stolen you should call the credit card company to cancel the card immediately.
if 5 dollars worth a illegal movie rentals will break your bank, maybe you should not have a credit card, you seem to be whining just to be whining.
GENERAL, you don't get the general message of this video. It isn't really about or for the consumer, it is awareness to a general security issue with REDBOX that they won't address and I was interested if anyone else has seen this. I am covered; I can care less really if you understand or not but thanks for watching! cheers!
after discovering redbox, that was the first thing i tried... used a credit card gift card supplied to me from at&t with less than 2 bucks on it... worked fine
i know this :) If i loose my cc, i'll have it covered. this is only in response to red box giving me the run around and telling me this couldn't possibly happen at their vending machines. Even someone who claimed to work for redbox (BURNU2) wanted me to submit the vending machine number(s) thinking it was an isolated maverick machine and by now it probably had been removed...this has been going on for over a year and RED BOX still is in denial...
Now folks that steal credit cards have another way to steal, thanks to you the YTUBE BOOB. Warning people about this does nothing fool. Do you really think people loose their credit cards intentionally ? Are people going to me more careful now that you have spilled the beans on this ? What a fool you are.
This is more for RED BOX to address this security flaw than to illicit mindless spray from malcontents and short sighted first responders, but thanks for your thoughtful input!
i am sorry to seem contrary..but I have tried this same stunt at 3 different RB machines, one at giant and the 2 at Harris Teeter...so it aint just a machine issue, i beg to differ. and if you see when this video was posted it has been going on for over a year...this aint no prank and but a public service announcement....cheers..
burnU1: All I can say is BULLSHIT! I live inthe EST. I have tried this inthe morning and inthe evening around 8-9 and i have used VISA, MASTERCARD and AMEX. I have called REDBOX and different people sound all knowledgable alll all and they'll get back to me, but they don't and it still happens. i even got someone in line a head of me and told them to enter some bullshit zip code and it still went through. I think redbox saif the zip code verification wasn't for security as we'd know it.
LOL I know, I know!!!! I am not a reporter and it was really hard for me at least to make this shit up as the film was rolling.
UPDATE!
This fucked up security flaw isn't isolated to my MASTERCARD from my CREDIT uion as some genius from RED BOX CUSTOMER SERVICE researched. I tried entering ALL ZEROS for the zip on my AMERICAN EXPRESS GOLD CARD and it vended the DVD
This video is bogus. Redbox is more secure than you think. The entering any zip code is nothing. There are more security measures to avoid anything bad happening. Call customer service and have them explain it. ITS no big deal. And beside what criminal who steals your credit card is going to rent dvds. I think they would go for big ticket items. Duh
It is an actual video taken of me entering a bogus zip code on my credit card. That is my point, I already called customer service and at the time they had NO explanation. People will run out and buy all sorts of stuff any way they can and get whatever they can that is worth anything; especially if it is from an unmonitored vending machine.
When is the last time a store clerk asked you for your ID when using a credit card? It's not just Red Box, Vincent. It's the entire money matrix system. If I were to acquire some one else's credit card, the Red Box wouldn't be the first place I'd hit. I think Itunes would be better :)
I posteda reply a while ago but it didn't post. We were in San Diego this summer and they routinely asked for ID. They did this a couple of times in Naples, FL. Itunes would be great!
LAZYBUM: It is sad that this type of rip-off mentality steers our way of life anymore. Someone where somewhere will have to pay for your 25 DVD's. Spam, Ripoffs, identity thefts- are you a criminal already? Your moniker says it all.
i know i was just joking. i use these machines a lot and know they don't take gift cards. and don't fucking judge me by my screen name. i am very active everyday. i go biking, roller blading, and jogging (an hour for each activity) i just chose this screen name because my friends changed the name when i wasn't in the room so fuck off.
sorry just had a bad day. I met this guy who is racist against koreans, which i am. and now i am in a pissy mood. and for the comment you cannot judge people for there screen names unless it says mileyfan or mileylover
An-yung Dude!People can be screwed up against anyone. Just stay away from these people and don't play into them, you are much better than that. cheers!
get a $25 gift credit card and rent 25 dvd's for 1 dollar each enter the fake zip code and then never return the dvd's again and the machine won't be able to bill you.
Absolutely not Einstein, there is a security flaw in credit card verification matrix in these machines that has gone yet undetected and unresolved by the vendor. Can you tell me what other payment security flaws are connected with this issue? Do you want to take the time to resolve this if your credit accounts fall into the wrong hands they start racking up charges? This is would be a pain that could be resolved if the vendor addresses this issue; leave your credit card by a red box and we'll c.
If your card is stolen or a charge is not yours, your credit card company will not make you pay for these fraudulent charges. Can I call you Chicken Little?
true but these are usually at major locations at entrances so you could probably have footage to catch the "bad guys." I dont have an account but how does the whole emailing info work because that could possibly be a big issue if criminals are dumb enough to have info sent to their emails? Unless they have an email account that cant be traced to them....
KEYEDE: I suspect you need to have a REDBOX account to fully understand the issue with the subject matter of this video and then in turn, be able make a meaningful response regarding a REDBOX email account. Thanks for viewing. Cheers!

All criminals are MacGyver wannabes and will steal your credit cards so they can rent from Red Box DVD. Because there's nothing else worthwhile to do with stolen credit cards.
rob583 1 year ago
@rob583 Redbox's are used to determine if a stolen card has been deactivated yet, before making large purchases. I know i rented from a North Carolina airport redbox on my way home to Minnesota and i got a call with in 10 min from my bank wanting to verify that it was in fact me who rented. Despite the fact i had been making purchases there all week. Another red flag for credit card security is pay at the pumps.

Redbox reads your fingerprints as you touch the screen. LOL

I bet you dollars to donuts that this putz works for Blockbuster. You want to talk about fraud? I had to pay for a movie that I had returned at a Blockbuster just because the Inept staff couldn't figure out what they did with it.
kdixon7783c 1 year ago
@kdixon7783c I got one also. I rented a game from Blockbuster, then I returned the game before the due date. Month goes by without any of them calling me. Looked at my monthly credit statement and they charged me full price for the game. Went there and they found it on the shelf. They paid my credit card back, but they couldn't pay the back the restocking fee. They game my credits. They refuse to cancel my membership. I just closed that credit account. Bunch of dumbasses.

I think if someone steals a credit card they will buy something more expensive than a DVD. I wonder if these have cameras in them like an ATM? I recommend netflix. Don't even have to leave the house.
ProjectMaster2000 1 year ago
for a dollar what kind of security do you expect? its the same thing if someone gets your credit card, learns your signature (that is on the back of your card i must add) and goes to any store to buy anything, credit cards arent as secure as people may think they are, the best way to avoid this is if your card is stolen to go get it canceled, like any sane human being would !!!!!!!!!!

They don't like the studios snooping around their cpu's to see how much they are owed.
gakkerout 2 years ago
I worked at BB for years, that's not how it works. When the DVDs are done being rented, they're sold in the stores as used DVDs unless the specific studio doesn't want them to be, in which case, they're actually destroyed, which sucks.
xobrentox 1 year ago
Exactly, that's the reason the DVD's are destroyed. They were never BB's dvds. If the BB you worked at was different due to being a franchise or otherwise I don't know. One doesn't destroy stuff they own. Destroyed DVD's are another form of shipping them back to the studio, you have to prove you destroyed them of course. BB destroys/ships back rather than sell used due to not owning them, they make the up the differnce in used sale by leasing it cheaper anyways.
gakkerout 1 year ago
The vast majority of DVD's were sold as used. The ones we destroyed we shipped back, but not for any kind of buyback, it was just the deal the studio made with BB. And if a single DVD went missing it was a big hoopla and someone could get fired. It was crazy.
xobrentox 1 year ago
I recently bought into a small video store that a friend of mine owns. He made it clear that revenue share programs are a pain to deal with. That's why we just buy our inventory full price from Ingram, no strings attached to it that way. With rumors of the BB next town 10mi over closing, and RB/Netfilx delayed titles bussiness is starting to pick up. By the way, was that a Sega Super GT twin sitdown cabinet at the bowling center you were at?

abulthuis 1 year ago
well if you enter your pin code to your credit card, dont you think that would be more of a risk? since your pin code goes to who knows where,,, whereas a bogus zip code isnt really important
pmic2011 2 years ago
Thats a good idea, Like an ATM issue
abulthuis 1 year ago
Redbox is an exceptional idea IMO. I just used one for the first time 2 days ago. I liked it. Interesting point about the zipcode. I will see if it runs next time.
My biggest concern with the system is the fact that these machines can be rigged by scammers to steal credit swipes.
mpoho2000 2 years ago
The Better Business Bureau rates Redbox a D-. Our local store gives kids free lolipops, cleans the DVDs, give you a nickle or even a dime here and there, and slashes late fees to just a few dollars so long as you just fess up to the fact that you brought them back late. WB, Fox, and Universal are limiting Redbox's access to their movies. Besides. it's cold in Colorado, I prefer browsing inside a building for a Blu-Ray film, it's better than DVD.
gakkerout 2 years ago
those were the days. I remember blockbuster being swamped nearly every night of the week. It's a vending machine. I like the convenience of being able to rent and return anywhere in the country! hey thanks for your post! cheers
vdotmatrix 2 years ago
i was wondering.....where does the dvd come from? is it inside the redbox?
pmic2011 2 years ago
Yes, the Redbox can hold a good amount of DVD's
abulthuis 1 year ago
Amen! lol
BeginnningoftheEnd 1 year ago
If you enter a 'real' incorrect zip code it won't allow the rental. If you enter a non existing, bogus, zip code it works. The software doesn't seem to know what to do with a zip code that does not exist, so it allows the rental. Seriously though, what kind of service do you expect for a $1? Rent at your local store, not Blockbuster or Redbox. At least then the money stays in your community. Hopefully Redbox dies, the studios agree.
gakkerout 2 years ago
The service is EXACTLY what it is. The DVD's you get are exactly the ones you can get anywhere else in your locality. I expect the service that I get for $1 not to have a liability of $24/DVD in the event something happens and if there is a limit of 5 DVDs, then that is an added liability one would have to deal. Local stores are few and far between in our market. REDBOX is booming.
vdotmatrix 2 years ago
This has been flagged as spam show
Hooray to having to deal without REAL people and making EVERYTHING disposable and cheap. God unbless america. lol
BeginnningoftheEnd 1 year ago
A friend in Florida was able to enter a bogus zip code with the same effect so this isn't limited to my locality.
vdotmatrix 2 years ago
Only a nutjob would support the movie studios evil ways. Go Redbox & Netflix!
dontwalkhand 2 years ago
You missed the point. I support my locally owned video store, not the studios, though I still support the studios indirectly by renting. Redbox causes the studios to lose money, Netflix knows this and has agreed to the 30 day delay for new releases. Redbox is a bitch to work with, they sue left and right, ie. Fox, WB, and Universal.
gakkerout 2 years ago
This can happen anywhere not just redbox. People can use your card to buy furniture and TVs and steal your identity. I'd rather someone get a DVD and have my bank take care of the fraud charges. And they can't start a DVD collection cuz you can only get 5 DVDs maximum lol
elbeaner03 2 years ago
I am convinced people do not understand the message of this video.
They shouldn't be able to get even ONE goddamn video, let alone 5!
Why the **** are we required to enter our effin zip code if doesn't matter what the fuck numbers we enter? this is my whole point and nothing but the point, other than REDBOX can give a shit about this security flaw which still exists to this hour!
vdotmatrix 2 years ago
so this doesnt charge anything to your credit card if you type in a fake area code?
Swanson1122 2 years ago
Everything goes through and then it asks me for my email address for notifications, i hit enter and it dispenses the DVD. Just like in the video above. This isn't a goddam trick or some way for anyone to try and defraud red box, it is what it is and RED BOX can give a shit.
vdotmatrix 2 years ago
I haven't rented movies in many months and today I rented 3. I entered for a zip code 88888 and then for the last DVD i entered 11111. I guess the issue continues.

LordoftheReef 2 years ago
They can just as easily take that same credit card and use it at a Best Buy and buy whatever movies they want - this video is stupid - if I was a crook and had a stolen CC, I think I would be heading to the mall, not my nearest RedBox to make a movie collection....gheez - because at the mall, really, who checks for ID anymore?
eltonwheelock 2 years ago
Thanks for that bit of brilliance mate, don't sell yourself short, you'd make a great crook! That is not the point, whether, you being an clever criminal and all, one step smarter than the law, if someone happens to loose their CC round these parts, a security flaw exists. That's it, no hidden meaning. Round here, more and more merchants check identification, but maybe not in the puckerbrush, eh?
vdotmatrix 2 years ago

If you lose your credit card you are only responsible for the 1st 50 dollars of illegal purchases, and really if you notice its stolen you should call the credit card company to cancel the card immediately.
if 5 dollars worth a illegal movie rentals will break your bank, maybe you should not have a credit card, you seem to be whining just to be whining.
Generalrecall 2 years ago
GENERAL, you don't get the general message of this video. vdotmatrix 2 years ago
You made an obvious point, but renting DVD's won't be the only thing they'll be doing with your credit card ;-)
thehilitereel 2 years ago
i know this :) If i loose my cc, i'll have it covered. this is only in response to red box giving me the run around and telling me this couldn't possibly happen at their vending machines. Even someone who claimed to work for redbox (BURNU2) wanted me to submit the vending machine number(s) thinking it was an isolated maverick machine and by now it probably had been removed...this has been going on for over a year and RED BOX still is in denial...
vdotmatrix 2 years ago
Public service announcement ? You are an idiot !

burnU1: All I can say is BULLSHIT!

I tried entering ALL ZEROS for the zip on my AMERICAN EXPRESS GOLD CARD and it vended the DVD
vdotmatrix 3 years ago
This video is bogus. Redbox is more secure than you think. The entering any zip code is nothing. There are more security measures to avoid anything bad happening. Call customer service and have them explain it. ITS no big deal. And beside what criminal who steals your credit card is going to rent dvds. I think they would go for big ticket items. Duh
abulthuis 3 years ago
It is an actual video taken of me entering a bogus zip code on my credit card. That is my point, I already called customer service and at the time they had NO explanation. People will run out and buy all sorts of stuff any way they can and get whatever they can that is worth anything; especially if it is from an unmonitored vending machine.
vdotmatrix 3 years ago
i rented 3 more videos this week and I 3 different zip codes-3 different times; I entered 11111, 22222, 99999.
still went through.

When is the last time a store clerk asked you for your ID when using a credit card? It's not just Red Box, Vincent. It's the entire money matrix system. If I were to acquire some one else's credit card, the Red Box wouldn't be the first place I'd hit. I think Itunes would be better :)
gaurdian316 3 years ago 2

abulthuis 3 years ago 2
Absolutely not Einstein, there is a security flaw in credit card verification matrix in these machines that has gone yet undetected and unresolved by the vendor. Can you tell me what other payment security flaws are connected with this issue? Do you want to take the time to resolve this if your credit accounts fall into the wrong hands they start racking up charges? This is would be a pain that could be resolved if the vendor addresses this issue; leave your credit card by a red box and we'll c.
vdotmatrix 3 years ago
If your card is stolen or a charge is not yours, your credit card company will not make you pay for these fraudulent charges. Can I call you Chicken Little?
hunter920 3 years ago 3
true but these are usually at major locations at entrances so you could probably have footage to catch the "bad guys." I dont have an account but how does the whole emailing info work because that could possibly be a big issue if criminals are dumb enough to have info sent to their emails? Unless they have an email account that cant be traced to them....
