the autodesk website has a 'product-trial' you can have shipped to you. its 4 to 16 gigs.

Why pirate it if Autodesk gives FREE licenses to people in school. (Any kind of school. A 5 year old with an E-mail could get it providing their teacher confirmed that they are a student.) Its a 13 month license that can be renewed every year. (As well as being able to upgrade to the newest release every year!)

Because there is a difference between a FREE license and a license that costs thousands of dollars. :)

Actually, aside from a banner on all your items stating that the item was made in an Educational version of the software as opposed to a professional version, they are exactly the same.

@1Mperios Because it is only offered to people who can verify that they are receiving some kind of education. It also appends all of the files created with it with a banner stating that it was created with an educational version and is not suitable for professional or commercial use.
