I don't think Jason Kay is a bad guy, or a douche, and even if I did, I couldn't possibly know for sure based solely on this one clip.

I really like the first album, so I kinda know what you mean.

But I've learned to only listen to the music I love and not looking at the personality's in the band.

If I have a Geordie accent - I thus have a British accent as Geordie is British. When people say 'British accent' or 'American accent' they are speaking generally about any accent within those places.

I believe you mean that it's not a specific, exact accent and you're right, it's many different ones, but nobody said that in the first place. It's a general term and it's perfectly correct to use.
