I had a 360.. and then i went to PS3.. and I will say.. both systems are = Final fantasy 13 i will admit.. pwns on the ps3.. but call of duty black ops on the ps3 is like fucking nes graphics 0_0 i mean shit makes me wish i had both so i can play all games how they are ment to be played.. on which ever system they are better on
@DarkGnasher gameplay wise nothing at all. Graphics wise, PS3 can Run it at 720p... So I mean I say it pwns cause it has just exactly one more plus point than the 360 version. So really I shouldn't have said that lol. They are both perfect except for the 720p graphics. But then 360 can get 1080p on final fantasy so if you have a really good tv and 360, You get the same exact thing. So thank you person for showing me my mistake.. They are the same game world!!

My opinion - The console means nothing. The only thing that makes one console different from another is the interface and power. If you like one better than another, it's a preference. But there aren't absolutes, unless talking about how hte interface wouldn't work. Like putting Halo on the Wii. Wouldn't work, because there are too many buttons and too many things to render.
I have an Xbox360, and play this game on it and am fine. I would be fine on the PS3 as well. So just shut it.
honestly i would buy a ps3 (if i had the money) right now just to get the next FF games that will come out eventually because i have this for xbox and they wont make any others for the damn console

Then I messed up my equipment on purpose just to unsort it and look through it very slowly just to listen to it even more..... I havent played many other FFX games but i tried listening to some of the songs and FFXIII is the real monster here amazing game. Some seriously futristic music here it matches the atmosphere to the T damnit!

so true it is like when you talk to people and they ask how far and you are like disc 3and they look at you like damn dude. that is amazing nice job i am only on disc 2. I always loved the multi disc rpgs they feel like they are much longer and you get like a sense of accomplishment from seeing that insert disc (2/3/4)
@Zeropip oh it is only 3 but i was just saying that for some of the FF2 that i have played have had 4 discs. I believe it was FF8 that had 4 i could be wrong though but i really enjoyed the Multi dics FFs
@SuperPhantomBlade7 So, you get to brag that you have such a long game that it requires 3 discs if you own the 360 version. :) But no hate to either; FF13 for the PS3 is just as good as FF13 for the 360.
Blu-ray is overrated to me. Personally, I don't think that a single game is worth buying a console that is overpriced. The PS3 sucks in an entirety. Nintendo got the message when they lowered the price on their systems, but PS3? Still being the most expensive system on the market isn't anything impressive. No backwards compatibility, total ripoff of the Wii with that new controller, etc.
Plus, when it was first released, Sony was out of their minds with the price of $599.99.
... And yet it is a better console system than Xbox 360 is. >.> Sure Xbox 360 is cheaper, but at the cost of that you may go through many consoles since they have been known to break so often (me and my boyfriend went through two already...).
But anyways... If anyone happens to have both consoles, definitely go for the PS3 version for FF13. ^^ The PS3 version runs much more smoothly and it's all on one disc as well.
... I've noticed huge lag spikes on parts of the game that have a lot objects/NPCs on the Xbox version, or just when the effects seem to get intensive.

hate to burst your bubble but I've played almost all final fantasy games. Beat 5 and 6, play almost all of 4, 2, and 1 and played quite a large amount of 12.
1,2,3,4, 5, 7, 8, 12, and x-2 were just god awful or waaaaaaay too easy due to unbalance or no need of a stragedy whatsoever.
alot of characters were bland, terrible stories, and the sheer lack of interaction between characters and feeling generally alive was just out of reach. Howver, FFXIII did what the other games, could not
Are you serious dude? That's the most...ridiculous comment I've ever heard from anyone who has played ANY Final Fantasy game. Especially about 7 and 8. I'm surprised you have played 1-5 considering US didn't get them all.
I didn't like 8 because of the battle system, didn't like 7 because of the characters/music.
I do like 6 though and 10 was nice. I was just raging earlier akldjaskl.
5 was good but mainly in the gameplay department. I liked some characters, but the story felt lacking. Liked 9 a bunch too but I just random stoped playing it at like 12 hours or so.
They got 1, 4 and 6 originally on SNES as 1, 2 and 3 respectively.
5 came out on PS1 later and I know 1 through 6 came out on either GBA or NDS over the last few years. 2 I am not sure, I think it might have come out on PS1 as well.

Uhh...YOU do some fucking research, because in case you missed it, that's exactly what happened to PS3 owners recently. There was an error which caused all the save files on your PS3 to be deleted if you turned on your PS3 on a certain day, due to an error made by Sony.

My opinion - The console means nothing. The only thing that makes one console different from another is the interface and power. If you like one better than another, it's a preference. But there aren't absolutes, unless talking about how hte interface wouldn't work. Like putting Halo on the Wii. Wouldn't work, because there are too many buttons and too many things to render.
I have an Xbox360, and play this game on it and am fine. I would be fine on the PS3 as well. So just shut it.

Then I messed up my equipment on purpose just to unsort it and look through it very slowly just to listen to it even more..... Then I didnt save my game.. quit and started over, messing up my equipment again this time by accident... but I heard awesome music while I unsorted it and did it all over again and lvled up while I was at it with upgrades. Blu-ray is overrated to me. Personally, I don't think that a single game is worth buying a console that is overpriced. The PS3 sucks in an entirety. Nintendo got the message when they lowered the price on their systems, but PS3? Still being the most expensive system on the market isn't anything impressive. No backwards compatibility, total ripoff of the Wii with that new controller, etc.
Plus, when it was first released, Sony was out of their minds with the price of $599.99.

hate to burst your bubble but I've played almost all final fantasy games. Beat 5 and 6, play almost all of 4, 2, and 1 and played quite a large amount of 12.
1,2,3,4, 5, 7, 8, 12, and x-2 were just god awful or waaaaaaay too easy due to unbalance or no need of a stragedy whatsoever.
alot of characters were bland, terrible stories, and the sheer lack of interaction between characters and feeling generally alive was just out of reach. Howver, FFXIII did what the other games, could not

I didn't like 8 because of the battle system, didn't like 7 because of the characters/music.
I do like 6 though and 10 was nice. I was just raging earlier akldjaskl.
5 was good but mainly in the gameplay department. I liked some characters, but the story felt lacking. Liked 9 a bunch too but I just random stoped playing it at like 12 hours or so.

5 came out on PS1 later and I know 1 through 6 came out on either GBA or NDS over the last few years. 2 I am not sure, I think it might have come out on PS1 as well.
