1) There are many variations of this song, some go fast, some go slow. But yes, the original was a slow song.

2) In case you can't hear, while everyone else does something, probably specially selected people got to play a important role. (You'll know it when you hear it), that's probably they were in the back. (Thought I may be wrong about this, or may have gotten confused on what you said.)

3) The song/ concert/ whatever may not require formal clothing.
