 It would have been very easy for us to standby in WWII and watch the world get run over by the dictators. But no we sent our young men (and women) to shed blood so someone like you can have the freedom say whatever they want on something called the internet.

Suggestion: Read some books Hitler, Tojo and Mussolini. After reading them you can ask yourself your own question

And immediately came to America's aid when it was attacked on 9/11, even though half a century earlier the US didn't assist them until years after they had been attacked, against a much greater threat. @kelbrit Hey, I most totally agree with the fact american servicemen and women deserving respect, but to say they're the ONLY one is a complete lack of consideration to the Australian, Canadian, British and Germans. Not looking to be a smartass, but about four hundred of our boys came back in a box from a war they didn't start in a country they didn't know existed. American soldiers have guts, I'll give 'em that, but they ain't the only ones, not by a long shot.
