  • It is definitely real. To the layperson, the planes are OMG SO CLOSE!!!!1111 but in reality they are separated by more than a mile and at least a thousand feet of altitude.

  • No its the LHR(London Heathrow) to MSP(Minniapolis St. Puals

  • Crazy mutha fucka named ice cube, from the gang called niggas with attitudes!! (nwa)

  • @HkarQ You sir, are a fool. What you've just written is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone who read your post is now dumber for having done so. May God have mercy on your soul.

  • @slone13 Yes i was a fool, when i think it now later what i said was idiotic. Sometimes you shouldnt say what you think. Again soory for harrasment.

  • @HkarQ It's not fake at all. I've seen planes flying this close many times. Why would someone fake a video like this? It makes absolutely no sense.

  • Actually, the video titled "COCKPITVIDEO - CROSSING TRAFFIC IN THE SKY" posted by 'PilotCyrus' (look to the similar videos on the right) is much closer to what I experienced, only mine was MUCH closer - so much so that I actually heard the doppler scream rush by as I felt a shudder from the shockwave & saw the very close contrails pass underneath (very quickly)!!

  • north west airlines used to always fly on them gatwick to detroit

  • In 2001,we were flying from YYZ to Puerto Viarta,Mexico in an L-1011(one of my all-time faves)& as we were cruising at about 37,000ft,another airliner crossed our path JUST below our jet,so much so I actually HEAD it whisp by!!I too actually saw the streamers disapper from right to left & felt a shudder in the entire fuselage..I didn't note ANYONE ELSE react,so I started doubting myself-BUT-I saw, heard & felt what I did & to this day swear by my account-that we were nearly all killed in a flash!

  • @Vention3 I had the same experience, flying Etihad from Abu Dhabi to Heathrow in Jan 2010.

When we past between Germany and France my fellow passenger next to me (who only had been flying his first time from India to Abu Dhabi that same day) got my attention and pointed outside the window that he saw a airplane.

I've been flying somewhere around 60, 70 or even more times in my life (I'm 27) and said ok, looked out the window and saw an A320 series approaching and passing by about 50-100m below..

  • @Smurfen6 THANKS!! I wish I could get your testimony in front of the neigh-sayer's eyes to read that! Whew! I knew it was one of those -hf, wtfwt? moments that was SO close, yet I may have been (other than the pilots of both planes - & the local air traffic controllers) the only one who actually saw eeveryone's lives flash before my eyes!!! No kidding.. This must happen quite regularly, just the odds keep the occurances so sparce.

  • i would have LOLED if the pilot wave at him

  • im no airplane expert but if thats smoke coming out of the rear of the engines, it cant be good.

  • @treezy333 lmao it's not engine smoke.. a plane travels at like 400mph and displaces the air around it.

  • @treezy333 Pillock

  • aer lingus ???

  • @fanmanu1000 Yes

  • @slone13 i hate their livery so much

  • @slone13 best airline ever aer lingus :)

  • @slone13 I did the Orlando to Dublin via Aer Lingus on an Airbus a330-300. Is New York where you are initially from?

  • @ShalemariTV Yes.

  • how is that fake ya retard

  • I know detroit might have one or two a330 flights, but I think that could be an old NWA a330 flight from amsterdam to detroit. Does anyone else agree?

  • @shezrat1 It's Ireland to New York back in 2006

  • @slone13 thanks, that would seem right

  • I have seen something similar flying to Newfoundland from Toronto.

  • this is cool man. why on earth are people even thinking its fake!!!

  • @seatgurus - Because their pea sized brains can't fathom some mundane realities.

  • Why can't people understand that there is a thing called routes/corridors/jetways? They're the most efficient flight plans in terms of fuel economy and the natural and logical consequence is that lots of planes use them like a freeway?

Plus the traffic control makes sure there's atleast 1000 feet of possible seperation putting them on different altitudes and lanes. So tired of ignorant tards commenting on aviation which they know nothing about.

  • 0:14 upskirt

  • ok baba its not fake,now happy :) x

  • @9705hammad You're fake

  • Chemtrails were being released in full force on those two planes!

  • its real cuz it doesnt get screwed up when the camera is moved around

  • Without knowing the videographer I am convinced this could be real. I work in the airline industry and know for a fact that the North Atlantic air corridor is one of the busiest flight lanes in the world-especially in summer where the charter flights compete with the regulars.

  • @hommedterre Oh, it's definitely real. I was flying back from a trip to Ireland with my family when the pilot came on the intercom and announced to the flight that another passenger jet could be seen flying parallel to us if we looked out the right side of the plane. Luckily I happened to have a window seat. We "raced" for about 10 or 15 minutes but eventually we pulled ahead. It was pretty cool.

  • wow fantastic shot!

  • Ummm... So who won?

  • @mannyzx1 THEY DID.. The plane filming :) YAAAAA!!! High Five!! :)

  • @kevykev46 You're phoney

  • What was the movie?

  • Im flying to NEW YORK next 3 weeks :))

  • That is 100% REAL! Aircraft Fly Like This All The Time, Same VOR's but Different Altitiude

  • @DjMatty2k9 Same VOR different altitude? Do you know what you're talking about? That made no sense :) Google RVSM and "North Atlantic"

  • People, this is real. I've flown numerous times and have seen this myself. Planes fly like this a lot..

  • This Aircraft Over ATC: HAHA Sucker I'm Faster!

Other Aircraft Over ATC: Don't worry I'm about to push my RR Trent 900 engine to full thurst!

  • WoW!!!!

  • Damn that's a gorgeous shot! I remember flying from Gothenburg to Palma de Mallorca and a plane flew right under us. It looks freaky as hell. lol

  • Nice video slone 13.

  • @TheTechnoFever You don't have a clue, do you? Word on the street is that YOU'RE a bad fake.

  • @TheTechnoFever Seeing as how I was the person that shot this video I happen to know that it is not an animation of any kind. It's 100% real.

  • @TheTechnoFever right, but since it is real, it has to look real, and so therefore if something is real, but 'looks fake' then perhaps a lot of things that are fake just look real. so with that said, there is a grey area where real and fake merge, thus not making something look fake or real in a black and white sense, but allowing a gap in 'reality' where when in doubt just ask the fucker who uploaded it... damn dude! he said its real. so whats your point? you cant prove its not.

  • @slone13 Don't feed the troll.

  • @TheTechnoFever

Clearly, you've never been on an airplane... You see planes from other planes all the time. It's like seeing a bus from another bus.

  • @TheTechnoFever You stupid little fool.

  • Pilots race too ya know. Winning!

  • Still looks pretty dam close to me, even at cruising!

Their TCAS must have yelled: TRAFFIC! TRAFFIC! TRA....ah what the hell...

  • @Mazeboxx TCAS works on rate of closure, if they have 1000ft separation and not closing it won't say anything.

  • That was pretty fucking badass

  • 0:12, what the hell movie is that?

  • that is actually the coolest thing ever

  • @VoneGaming Yeah. It COULD be real. Because it is.

  • @slone13

You miss the point, all of you. Who won? Who was first in NY? )

  • @slone13 how the hell could this be fake good vid

  • @VoneGaming You could be also fake, but you loke real

  • @VoneGaming that clearly is real

  • @VoneGaming right, but since it is real, it has to look real, and so therefore if something is real, but 'looks fake' then perhaps a lot of things that are fake just look real. so with that said, there is a grey area where real and fake merge, thus not making something look fake or real in a black and white sense, but allowing a gap in 'reality' where when in doubt just ask the fucker who uploaded it... damn dude! he said its real. so whats your point? you cant prove its not.

  • there racing to america

  • Dude, is this legal?

  • @laso123

Emperor Palpatine: "I will MAKE it legal!"

On a serious note, separations of 1000 feet between aircraft is permitted above 28,000 feet, because the rules say your aircraft must be equipped with certain navigation and safety equipment if you're to fly above that altitude (TCAS, FMC, etc.). They're fine.

  • @Treetop64 Oh ok.

  • @Treetop64 "Emperor Palpatine: "I will MAKE it legal!""

    BIG GRIN.

  • fuck that's close!

  • erm

    - NWA521 request to join formation...

    -approved.

    -joining.

    :D

  • airplane smoke..don't breathe this

  • @MrWrldpce itl get you high :)

  • * GLIMPS*

  • Niggaz With Airplanes

  • ireland 2 new york NINE TIMES OUT OF TEN ITS FOR EMIGRATION

  • plane it's death's machine

  • that must be fake! how could that plane fly so slowly?

  • @mynosferatu what do you mean? it probably is flying at Mach 0.83. Which at that altitude means about 900km/h depending on the winds (eastbound tailwind, westbound headwinds) the other plane is typically 4000 feet lower but it also can be 2000 feet on the organised tracks over the atlantic.

  • @mynosferatu what do you mean? it probably is flying at Mach 0.83. Which at that altitude means about 900km/h depending on the winds (eastbound tailwind, westbound headwinds) the other plane, northwest a330, is typically 4000 feet lower but it also can be 2000 feet on the organised tracks over the atlantic.

  • @mynosferatu its not flying slow, their flying at the same speed at 35 000 feet in the air, hence why the clouds enderneath them seem to move slow.

  • Never leave your wing man Mavrick.

  • easyjet?

  • thats a nwa plane eazy e and ice cube are flying it

  • @galatasaray710

    Dr Dre is navigator.

  • Who won this drag race? :)

  • love it

  • Iw iuld kill to see that, looks fucking awesome

  • Wow thats such ......... A good scene ;-}

  • i MISS nwa! :(

  • The movie scene is epic! :-D

  • is that even allowed or normal?

  • @maxwelle103 It's normal. Every Plane has got his own altitude for the flight, who are given from the Towers.

  • @maxwelle103 yeah mate as long as both aircraft are RSVM approved and therefore equipped the vertical seperation can be as little as 1000 feet... youtube RSVM and united airlines i beleive have an old school vid bout what precautions are taken for RSVM equipped aircraft... pretty cool stuff!

  • @maxwelle103 Completely allowed, as long as they're 1000 feet away vertically. They could be right over each other as long as there's 1000 feet between them.

  • awesome, never seen two planes flying that close

  • that close

  • Awesome

  • Had a fly-by with a FedEx MD-11 3 years ago:)

  • This close proximity flying is common pratice in modern

day aviation, it's just in case the other plane breaks down XD

  • Thats not normal or ??

  • @TheSickboy00 yes it is normal

  • that's crazy. waaay too close!!

  • @plsniper thats not to close. thats 1000ft+

  • @TheBored22 No it is not my friend. Looking at how it is filmed, seeing the cabin window and then the airbus, you can see that this was not zoomed in. This is between 500ft to 800 ft. WAY TOO CLOSE. The ATC probably had the airbus crew have visual contact (see the aircraft above them) and maintain visual separation. At that range, between 500 to 800 feet, the radar is not reliable and both aircraft can switch positions with eachother on the screen.

  • @plsniper this is more than 800ft, it's more around 1000ft which is normal.

  • @plsniper First of all, that was clearly zoomed in. Look at the 14 to 15 second mark, where he moves back to the video. You see him zoom it back out to show the screen, quite clearly. That's easily 1000 feet. That's an A330, it is an absolutely massive aircraft if you see it up close.

  • @mr3856a :) Believe me, I know what A330 looks like. Flew quite a few times over the pond but not in a passenger's seat.

  • @plsniper Good for you. It's clearly zoomed in and clearly over 1,000 feet, as it has to be in RVSM airspace. Thanks for playing.

  • I wonder what the air traffic controllers were doing? Panicking? :-)

  • awesome, I couldn't film a second airplane yet while flying

  • isn't that a violation for passenger jets to fly that close?

  • @Thearchitect1992 they r 1000 feet or more apart. its normal

  • NWA 4EVER!!!

  • These pilots enjoy flying formation !

  • @mrp0208 the pilots fly wherever the air traffic controllers tell them to fly.

  • @SuckMyMassiveKnob Air is accelerated over the top of the wing. As the air is accelerated over the wing it causes a pressure differential between the top of the wing and the bottom of the wing - this is lift. Forward momentum does not prevent a fall...maintaining a large enough pressure differential prevents the loss of lift. An aircraft could have a groundspeed of 1 kt and still remain in the air if there was a strong enough headwind

  • Nice vid..!!! Its awesome!

  • What where you flying in?

  • @323tiim Hello tim, does anyone take a note of type of plane they were flying in over four years ago so they can answer that question for someone on you tube?

Just do not hold your breath for the answer.

  • @ALAJOHNSTONE I like planes and i would like to know what he was flying in.

And i dont care what you think

And who the hell is tim?

  • @323tiim Hello Tim, he does not remember.

  • @ALAJOHNSTONE Hello asshole, how do you know!

    And my name isnt tim!

  • @323tiim Hello Tiim, I asked him.

  • @ALAJOHNSTONE I dont care, just shut up and leave me alone bitch

  • @323tiim Where you learn that nice language tim?

  • @ALAJOHNSTONE from your mom, and send me another messege and i'll block you

  • @323tiim Hello Tim, what sort of plane were you on your last flight, an Airbus?

  • @ALAJOHNSTONE haha, nice don trying not to make me block you, but for your information, it was an a380

  • Cool - see the rate that the contrails are made, gives perspective to the speed of the aircraft that is not normally noticed.

  • @stoneill1

    That is very true buddy.

  • cant really imagine how the japanese created anti-air guns that were supposed to throw metal up to 11.000 meters . Fortunately they only managed to create 3 then they god bombed at hiro and naga

  • 0:12 xD

  • It's a race! GO!

  • revival NWA......

  • it is a airbus a330

  • you canmake anything fly with enough power...even a brick.

  • @shooteraod i.e. a ROCKET since they don't have wings.

  • what plan was you flying onn?

  • @AaronP216 me's been flying onn biig plan, big plan have forre enjins!

  • were you taking an aircanada plane by any chance?

  • Just 1000 feet is safe vertical separation between two aircrafts flying in opposite directions, ie. FL140 west->east and FL150 east->west. In this vid both planes were flying in one direction and it can still be safe distance - ie. FL180 and FL200 ... these machines are huge and zoom was used...

  • @soco75 how could he be zooming in when you can see the edge of the window and the camera is so steady? he BARELY zoomed in

  • @Mantis400 rising focal length makes objects look closer to each other... it is just deforming the perspective - object near you looks "on place" (window), object far away from you (plane) looks like - oh jesus, other plane will collide with us :)

  • it's mind blowing to see these aircrafts flying so fast to get across the big pond...i just love it too like wallsie said.

  • ay caramba!

  • Thats nice! I've never seen two planes so close in air.

  • its interesting when you see the effect of wind drift on other airplanes around you. you see the actual difference between heading and track. they fly a specific heading to maintain desired track dependent on wind direction and speed. you don't actually notice it onboard that you could well be drifting sideways with a 100mph wind

  • wow what a lovely scene!! two aircrafts sharing the same airway!!

  • NICE!!!

  • lovely!

  • The niggaz with attitude plane is showin attitude lolz

  • northwest airlines A330-300

  • (Tune to "Somewhere over the the rainbow") "Somewhere over the Atlantic, way up high!"

  • Jeez, what happen to the 2 mile separation limits. This is insane. Confirms complete Chemtrail conspiracy. Watch the shills jump in.

  • Is that normal? so close!

  • @MERIJNTJE1 NO!

  • So wait let me get this staight, your in an airplane and outside the window you see another plane? is that real ?

  • There are some stupid people in here!

  • drag race on 3rd horn haahahhhaa

  • No matter what film they were showing, i'd rather watch that view out the window :-D

  • i would like to have been in the cockpit just to listen to the TCAS sreaming : Traffic Traffic, Climb Climb, Increase Climb :D by the way I don't think it's a fake, are these pilots just mad ?
