Troy Polamalu is up there with some of the greatest of all time like Ronnie Lott, Ed Reed (who I don't think is as good as Polamalu but I can't think of any other great safteis), and others. May even be better. Amazing interception ability, huge tackles, explosiveness off the line, incredible speed, and the ability to find a hole and close it before the ball carrier gets through it it what makes him amazing. Watch out, you could be watching the greatest of all time.

However... I have never seen any of those players do what Polamalu does. Not only can he defend a pass, but he can read snap counts better than ANY PLAYER which causes him to make plays that leap over offensive lineman, etc. It's just stuff like this play here that makes me right.
