Anyone have footage from the race from 1995, was a short track. Maybe here or Richmond or Wilksboro. It was a Spring race and I believe it was eithe rRandy Lajoie or Rich Bickle in the #22 MBNA Bill Davis Pontiac, prior to Ward Burton taking the drivier's seat. The car gotr rear ended HARD by another car. I had it on tape but God knows where is is now.
"Loy Allen Jr. making his 2nd Winston Cup start..." Actually this was his 3rd Winston Cup start. His first two starts came at the July Daytona race and at the second Talladega race.
Rockingham was never Loy Allen Jr's track. If you remember, he was injured in a crash there in the February race in 1996. Dick Trickle subbed for Allen until he recovered.
Little did we know couple months later Loy Allen Jr would be on the pole for the Daytona 500

I wish NASCAR raced at the Rock, Rockingham had some of the best racing on the circuit at the time

Loy Allen Jr. had no track. That car should have been so easy to save...

No, with the early sunsets and the fact that 500 miles at the rock took so long with the number of cautions, day light was always a concern.
