In the US you're far more likely to find vocal religious types. The majority of Brits just ignore it, or laugh. Sure you see stats about religions here in the UK, but one minute the church will be clapping about all the people who still go to church and how important it is, and the next lament at the falling attendance.

The students are merely acting out the creationists' response to evolution, which is to act like apes (in other words, make a lot of noise and don't listen).

Is this fake? The few kids that were sitting down looked confused heh.. But the camera always went on the "ringleader" before he started yelping, so fake I guess.

This just proves evolutionary theory is correct. Did you see those fucking monkeys in class. They must be the missing links. The students who acted like monkeys should just kill themselves off. The world will be better off.

Looks staged to me but I've never been a high schooler with a camera person filming me. Is this a critique (revisit to ) of the "Inherit the Wind" argument ? If so. it is dumbed down. The theory of evolution is just that: a theory. It happens to be the most powerful-and-yet-to-be meaningfully-challenged-theory which impacts civilization's conversation. That said, this stuff is truly sophomoric fodder if the intent is to use it as a predicate to meaningful discourse.

This video looks like a well-staged prank.
I know there are real "teacher baiting" videos out here, but I think this one is not real.
The film maker did a great job though---lots of good camera work.
