My office has instituted a "red hour" as a way of boosting morale. It's generally worked, though there has been some broken glass, a black eye or two, and a couple of unplanned pregnancies. Nothing intolerable, though.
Funny how this episode relates to modern pagan holidays such as Mardi Gras and Halloween and how modern society turns a blind eye on their activities. Very inspiring and cleverly written. A real classic!

Looks like Mardi Gras in the French Quarters in New Orleans. The only difference is that for Mardi Gras the calm comes after during Ash Wednesday.
