A 13 year old girl in my town had a stroke two days ago. I do not personally know her but she has gone under 2 brain sugeries since sunday. Please pray for her and her family.

The main point I'm making is that you cannot get angry at any Christian who plays "Metal" music...especially when God is using that particular style to reach others for Christ. These arguments of "style" goes back for nearly 500 years when Luther tried to get "modern music" , or more specific, "Singing" done in church at all. Then of course, in every generation preceeding there is this age old debate. It's all good man. ; )

This song is so right on. Giving are selves away doesn't happen over night it takes many decisions we make. What we see, what we do, where we go, what we hear...it all leads to destruction if we don't follow Jesus. It not that we do something, it's when we take that second glance and repeat that same mistake again.
WOW...it's like they just wrote about the past year of my life! Awesome song with wonderful words...very powerful! Praise the Lord he is a forgiving God and even when we stumble he is gracious enough to forgive and pick us back up!! So sad for those who never get the chance to seek forgiveness though.

How do you prevent that from happening? Jesus recommends biblical community as God shares in Acts 2:44-47. I personally recommend that as well from blessed experience.

I to feel like i have disapointed him and have let him down, but he forgives us of our sins. I thank god for my life everyday and i don't take his forgiveness for granted. The first time I ever heard this song, I was walking my dog through town listening to my younger sisters MP3 player. Then, this song came on and I started listening to it, and I stopped walking and just stared up into the sky and started crying, because I realized everyday that I pray less, study the Bible less, etc, it becomes a slow fade. I realized people never crumble in a day. My older sister left the Lord: but then it hit me, one day she just didn't chose to leave Him, it was a slow fade.

Alot of Christian music dont sound christian. Like metal Christian music is not christian. Its just an excuse to be worldy. Some are sexual. But this band never makes music like that.

You are extremely critical of your Christian family...of which are "metal" groups. Your statement lumped ALL of them. Christ said that when we even criticize...it's like "murder". I'd be careful of what you say. Just a loving admonishment from an ol' brother in the Lord. ; )

All those who stayed away from christian music should come back to it. The new sounds of christian songs has gotten amazingly good. Casting crowns is only the small surface of todays amazing and inspiring music.

i have always stayed away from christian music just because most of what i've heard is the same message with the same chords. casting crowns is a refreshment to christian music. i love listening to them bc they have true talent. good job casting crowns!!!!!

This song is so right on. Giving are selves away doesn't happen over night it takes many decisions we make. What we see, what we do, where we go, what we hear...it all leads to destruction if we don't follow Jesus. It not that we do something, it's when we take that second glance and repeat that same mistake again.

WOW...it's like they just wrote about the past year of my life! Awesome song with wonderful words...very powerful! Praise the Lord he is a forgiving God and even when we stumble he is gracious enough to forgive and pick us back up!! So sad for those who never get the chance to seek forgiveness though.

We did a study on this song in Sunday school. I heard it, and I was about to cry.
How true is this? How naive am I? I have this illusion that every sinner will get up and turn to Christ?
What if someone dies and never gets up? Breaks my heart. I can't imagine dying like that. And I've seen daddies, families, people crumble. And it leads to a spiritual, and sometimes physical, death.
I pray for forgiveness, and commit the same crime, over, and over, and over....This is my greatest fear.

How do you prevent that from happening? Jesus recommends biblical community as God shares in Acts 2:44-47. I personally recommend that as well from blessed experience.

theshadowrazor-im in the same position you'r in.I just believe in the lord, pray, and he is our only hope. The only one who is perfect is him. I to feel like i have disapointed him and have let him down, but he forgives us of our sins. I thank god for my life everyday and i don't take his forgiveness for granted. Over coming these sins doesnt happen in a second, but doing it with the help of the lord over time. I know its not easy but stay strong and god bless everyone.

I'm already in this position. I feel like a backslider. I want our God with a passion but I let my idols and lusts get the best of my, my flesh almost always wins the battles on a daily basis. The Lord is the only one who can bring me back I feel. This song touchs me because of all the regret and pain it reminds me of, it is so true in real life, even though we try so hard to cover our pain up, as if we Christians don't have issues.....

The first time I ever heard this song, I was walking my dog through town listening to my younger sisters MP3 player. Then, this song came on and I started listening to it, and I stopped walking and just stared up into the sky and started crying, because I realized everyday that I pray less, study the Bible less, etc, it becomes a slow fade. I realized people never crumble in a day. My older sister left the Lord: but then it hit me, one day she just didn't chose to leave Him, it was a slow fade.
