@SocialDissimulation Transparency would help a lot but I think it needs to go further. We have generations whose votes are based on clever ad campaigns, mud slinging, 30 second sound bites and bumper sticker rhetoric instead of policy. The same organisations that influence the decisions we make in buying laundry powder and fast food influence who we vote for. Along with campaign reform we need to reform the lobby system. Corporations do not look after our interests.
