Some Homebrews running on HBL Vita

Hi, dont know if you will see this but ive managed to get vhbl working just fine and get the doom you packaged up and running fine, but I cant seem to run any homebrew i put on there, the homebrew installs but just a black screen, do you know what i may be doing wrong? I replace the install folder in the doom package with the homebrew, say snes9x or whatever its called, store it as zip named install, i followed your tutorial but maybe its not clear enough or im just not doing it right, thank you

Second, they might be losing money if people play for free (even if we're not technically pirating, we buy less games from Sony if we have cool homebrew), and third, it increases their customer service prices if people run into problems trying to use homebrew.

@mattehFLCL Unless things go wrong (e.g. Sony patches the vulnerability), this will be made public sometime after the release of the console in the US an EU. for now the touch controls are not available, as we are dependent on the PSP emulator limitations.

@basicloner you do realise that its the PSP version of Daedalus running through PSP Emulation on the Vita don't you?

So basically its not using the hardwares quad core CPU, increased RAM, VRAM, new GPU, etc...

We wont see a proper version of Daedalus for Vita until its hardware hacked. Wololo's efforts in the meantime, will allow us to enjoy our old PSP homebrews on the Vita for now. The exploit he's using allows unsigned code to run through the vitas PSP Emulation mode.

@basicloner technically it's the psp emulator so it has the limitations of the PSP. Also this is an old version of Daedalus and there might be newer versions running faster, but I didn't bother looking for them (I need a version that runs in user mode).

Ethically, although I understand you don't want to pay for the same game twice, if we enable psp isos through this hack, it will give Sony a good reason to patch it. It won't mean they won't patch it anyways, but at least I will be able to say they are assholes for patching a harmless exploit :)

Love emulators, to me a harmful way to play everything we love without keeping 23098423984 systems to do so. What I do not condone however is hacking to acquire an advantage over fellow players in a multi-player setting which did ruin Socom on the PSP.

Dedicated portable gaming devices will never be safe from such things ( hacking to get an advantage on a fps etc ), with resistance,cod, a supposed Battlefield game coming to the ps vita I hope those type of losers stay away from it.

@frwololo I've still one question: The Homebrew, for example the N64 emulator uses a completely different Button/Axis address on the PSP. Why are you able to control it even with the wrong address? Is it a port to Vita? Sorry if I failed hard, I'm not a developer, just a codewriter on Wii. Because, actually on the Wii, if you play a game for example with a GCC which is actually not possible, then u have to write some code which simulates the real controler. That's why I'm asking.
