How to change the CMOS battery in your Desktop Computer

When i changed my battery, my computer like messed up something in the bios or cmos. Because its saying battery voltage low change battery. I JUST FRIGGIN DID THIS IS WHY I HATE DELL!!!!

Aye my pc won't start I put the power cord and in the back of the tower there's a blinking green light and won't power on had the pc like 5 years could this be the problem or is it the psu or motherboad?

@eric8510282e This doesn't have anything to do with your computer not getting power to boot up... This just powers the clock and stuff when the PC is turned off

Out of all the videos I watched they all touch metal before they touch the battery cuz of the static electricity. Just curious, what WOULD happen if you did get a 'shock?' Would it affect the PC?

it's faster to use a small flathead screwdriver to push that tab back(do it gently though) and the battery will pop out fast.
