wow, for $3200....what's the point of buying this? no bluray support and no gaming.
get ASUS W90Vp-X1
some features includes:
Intel T9600 @ 2.8ghz...overclockable to 4ghz, and most important...ATI 4870 X2....yes, finally comes in a laptop. 6gb of DDR2 ram, 320gb 7200rpm HD. 18.4in 1080p screen. All for $2200 from newegg. This to me is the ultimate laptop for really good price.
kid, dont u understand that computers are used actually for work, not only for gaming? yes, great u found some laptop that you can play or games on -- congrats. however, it is not a good computer for power user and in addition it runs... windows. as i am into photography, i cannot think of working without mac (aperture 2) and find it to run faster programs such as photoshop cs4 on it, than on windows.
moreover there are other advantages of mac such as durability, safety, etc.
hi mate i noticed you plucked your ext/monitor with out switching of your mac or monitor unless its hotswap its not recomended to plug in any device like that i have had macs and pcs even now with the new hardware i would always switch of the power first any way mate nice vid
why watch then? i dont give a crap about your crapy comment. i put these videos out because i have over 280 subcribers and they like my videos, go and comment elsewhere
Getting my MacBook Pro in a month. I was wondering about getting a Cinema display and just wanted your opinion. Does it get annoying have two displays by having them next to each other or is it useful? also i have the same printer as you :D
you'll have to sell the two 512mb cards it comes with and get two 1gb cards, so it will cost more if u do it DIY. unless u get some RAM cards from eBay
windows is not on mac os x, its on the laptop itself. You restart your laptop and then you press shift, or something like that i dont know im not sure, and windows starts on your macbook or macbook pro.
Hey Mate, I am thinking about getting a macbook for music recording and editing. I think you problem is the human interface which is thinking that your using the wrong screen. Its pretty hard to explain but Apple should have a patch out to fix it soon.
solid vid, I was pondering over plugging in a Big fat Dell CRT into my macbook, I don't think I should bother. Apple really stuffs the pixels in on those MBP's tho!
Im looking into buying a macbook pro 17"...could you make a video explaining what this Merom talk is, cuzz i dont want to buy a macbook pro right this minute when a new one is comming out in a little while.
When i buy Aperture for Christmas i will probably buy an extra 1gb ram to help it along abit but if you want the 2gb dont buy from apple, they are too expensive
That's odd that it takes so long for your Macbook to respond after plugging in the other monitor. I too have a cheap branded 15" 1024 x 768 monitor, but it responds instantly.. I think you might want to call apple about that if you plan to get a new display *nods*
If you need one now then buy one, although i am not bothered about the merom chip i would wait until next monday the 25th to see if apple release the new macbook pro line up with core 2 duos
According to new tests, the Merom isn't really that much better than the Yonah anyway. Sure, it'll be a bit faster, but not much. Don't fret over the Merom, because unless you're doing really, really high-level shit... It really doesn't matter.
does your mac heatsup

Hi mate, I'm in the exact same dilemma. I'm currently waiting for the Macbook Pro's with the new Intel Santa Rosa processors.
Just wanted to ask one question, how did you plan to get past customs within the US when bringing the screen over?

You can either buy Parallels off the Apple website
or you can buy Bootcamp which splits your HD in half and uses one half for Mac and the other half for Windows files.
