  • I was diagnosed when i was 12 now im 26.. and it still sucks. Check out my videos about my journey. We will get through this

  • You sound like me 100% I know how it is exactly. I'm doing terrible with this disease; I'm Hypothyroid.

  • Hey girly.. Trying to be as positive as you can is soo hard.. and it seems like everything you do you do you fail.. and it makes you want to give up even more. I think posting your video is a very good start trying to contact people with the same issue. I know I have a thyroid condition my blood work will not show anything but hormones are out of wack and low vit D. I found a Natropathic doc said that its hypothyroidism. What has your natropathic doctor told you to do?

  • so are you going to die? b.c i feel like i might have that wrong with me. im not sure.

  • This vid speaks for me because I went thru the same process. I experienced hair loss, dry skin, dramatic fatigue fluxes and increasing weight gain; all under the care of the same doctor of over 5yrs. I was told to diet better, workout harder and change my environment, basically ignoring the medical side of my issues and focusing on the physical symptoms. I fired him and found a doc that listened. MizzFitness is correct. Why pay for poor care? It's your health so take control of it! Thanks.

  • Hi there, I have hypothyroidism... And some of the things you have said I can relate to. Shortly after being diagnosed I had a few heart problems - I had 24hour monitoring and it was found that my heart beats faster than "it should be". This was also found to be the trigger for a lot of anxiety attacks I was having over a 2 month period. I believe this was related to my thyroid problems. I agree wholeheartedly with you - you know your own body - you know when something's not right. I did.

  • I'm concerned that i may have hypothyroidism and i was wondering what tests need to be done and how much are the usual costs?

  • @walkerofthenight17 It is a simple blood test to check your thyroid. Also, if the levels are found to be out of whack they may want to do an ultrasound. No one here can tell you how much it will cost because it varies from practice to practice.

  • Thank you. I'll have to check your channel. I'm having a bit of trouble lately with shakiness. I think my meds be a little too high at the moment. Getting everything checked again soon.

  • Hey guys, have a look at my channel..I've been on meds for over 4 years now and things are getting a lot more under control..want to chat to more sufferers.

Sorry to watch this in a way, I just want to say, you're not alone..*hug* x

  • @saphirejourney

I was born with Hypo..... I have had the pills since 8 days old.. :( kinda wish i knew what normal was. even to be normal when your young and then get hypo. i believe thats better than hypo from birth.

  • I to have low thyroid

  • I to have

  • High thyroid as in hyper? I'm not a doctor qualified to treat you but I think you should take them if you feel comfortable with that doctor. If not, get a second opinion. There are some potentially fatal side effects to both conditions that medication can treat. Are you feeling weird about taking medicine for life or are you just not convinced? If the doctor is right, putting off treatment will only delay you feeling better.

  • i got a blood test and my tsh levels are high, now they want to give me pills(levothyroxine), do you think i should take them or get more test done, like t3 t4 vitamin D iron..... are you takeing any thing for your hypothyroid?
