just watch out though, a lot of chapters are pretty much little books in themselves...stories about different helicopters going down and stories about the 160th Night Stalkers.

They are really good chapters just try and keep in mind the story of Mike, those chapters are just page fillers XD

Mike is actually the step father of a close friend of mine, and in actuality, he speaks very little of what happened. But when he wrote the book he never lied once. What the book says is what he actually lived through. Don't mix it up and say your own stories. It is very ignorant. He is an extremely nice guy.

Well, the movie is actually accurate in it's depiction of the AK because up until recently, Mike Durant's official story was that they hit him with an AK. Only recently (In the Book) did he acknowledge that he was actually hit with a dismembered arm. He held the information from official accounts of the events out of respect for the families of the two Delta men, and to help himself forget what actually happened. It took a psychological toll on him I would imagine.
