  • great tone and great guitarplaying skills but his vocals arent that impressive, he just sounds like a white kid..... clapton, matt schofield, SRV, Jeff Healey are all white but they have that deep soulful voice that this guy doesnt have.... but really good instrumentalist...

  • Does anyone think this sounds exactly like the version John Mayer plays? I'm just curious about who played it first John or Scott. Hell maybe they're both playing an unknown third pary's version. I'm not knocking either one of them I'm just curious

  • Ha! I noticed the same thing. Well this is definitely John's version. Scott is very influenced by John. :-)

  • Yeah for sure. I do know that B.B. king did a lot diferent version way back in the day. And Eric Clapton covered the same song, just sounds wayyy diferent. Mayer does an instrumental version on his as/is albums. As to who coverd it first, john or scott? I have no clue
