Wow! A lot of commercials and promos of highlights on ABC in December 1989 including a TV Commercial Promo of MacGyver Season 5 Episode 11 The Madonna. I remember this episode well. It was aired on ABC on the 18th of December 1989. This was a christmas episode of Series 5 of MacGyver.
Uh she gets off work and is stoked because she can finally have a stick of chewing gum? I don't about you but when I get off work I get my happy ass a beer and a shot.
You know my family has a tradition, every year we try to find new and creative way to give hallmark our money, you know hallmark, the creators of "holiday tradition" ? They make tons of money off of religion, holidays, and anything centered around celebration. now go buy those cards, put money in them and give them to family members yay.
All I can say is I wish that they could sell things like Co-advil again (advil plus sudafed combined). Now you can't buy sudafed over the counter, you have to get a prescription from your doctor. All the great sinus relief made very hard to get now because of the meth users.
Ahhh..."Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire". 12-year-old me was unimpressed that evening. 33-year-old me has the DVD box set of every available season.
I'm kind of surprised they had a "MNF, then MacGyver" promo. Here in the Central Time Zone, where MacGyver came before the game, they always ran that that promo first, with a notation on the screen that said "Follows game on the West Coast". I figured they did that out west as well.
Whoa, I didn't know Hyundai was around since the 80's! I must not have really paid attention since I didn't have a drivers license. Love the commercials, wish we got more diverse commercials than the ones we have now.
Um, yeah. Could you explain it to me again please, and this time act more annoyed and slam the frying pan down harder? I still don't quite get it. It must be all the drugs I'm on.
Does anyone else notice that at the Wrigley's commercial, the black guy gets to only say "cool" even after a freaking register starts to talk? And the way he acts, hilarious! And what is he looking at on 00:05???? hahahahaahha!!! "Cool!"
I'm sorry, Timmy, you'll be getting a Youth Minus on this assignment. "Because it's awesome" isn't enough of an explanation. *smack*
And, before anyone gets all intelligent, I get that Youth Plus has nothing to do with grading, or anything but the enrichment of the youth of the late eighties. So please don't think I'm oblivious to truth, because I made a joke.
yeah, they still make them, but they're no longer being marketed towards kids (i know the commercial here wasn't for kids either, but nearly every other commercial I saw for the cereal over the years was during kids shows).
I loved Apple Cinnamon Cheerios!!! I think this has been my favorite one out of all 24 so far. Still can't believe the price of VHS tapes!!!
I use to watch Channel 2 when I'd visit my dad and my grandparents. Brings back great memories. Who would have thought that commercials could make everyone emotional!!
