love your thoughts! i will definitely take this into account! I am 20 years old and starting that transistion into the real world and love looking at your videos!
@SLAPDASHdiiip You are wise already, if at your young age you are looking for guidance. People may think I am wise, but really, I've just had experience, and have done everything in life wrong at least once. So....I'm glad that people like you can watch my videos and not make the same mistakes I have! Haha! Nice to meet you! Brian .
This is an excellent video, Brian. How different the world would be if every person at youth could be impressed with these habits and ideas! I particularly agree with your #9 and #10. We live so alienated today from life as it naturally is, and our mental culture goes to decay.
(I commented on this video around the time you posted it, but for some reason my comment didn't show up.)
I agree that we could all be saved a lot of misfortune, if we were taught golden rules of one sort or another from our youth. I missed that opportunity. I'm 51 now, and I had to figure it all out for myself! I'm still thinking! haha. : ) Recently, I went to the County Fair. I saw the 4-H kids and the Scouting kids there. I really missed a lot by not joining them when I was a kid! Well, never too late, huh? : ) Brian.
I also did not have anybody to help me make sense of things when I was younger. It is something of a miracle, by the grace of God, I suppose I could say, that I did not completely wander off course. But I believe the blame to a significant part falls on our society as it is today.
There are quite a few advices here that I should really bring into my life... particularly those about food, but I do think there is something here for everyone...
Actually I think I'm going to share this over on Facebook...
You a very wise indeed Brian...
And, on a more technical level, I loved this too... I think it had a great choice of music, that helped to enhance the message... Very well done... I particularly liked the bit with the lawnmower... :)
I think I should make a sequal with even more tips on better living, from me, the better living Guru! How do you like this title? I will call the sequal: "Do as I say, not as I do, Part II." Haha! : ) Brian.
Hi Brian....((BOO))!!...:) Angelo posted this video on his Facebook, so it drew me over here. I have missed your great videos! Always spot on with wonderful tips and peacefulness!! :) I hope you are doing well - you certainly look well in your video :) With best wishes, Sunbeam :)
@xxxSunbeamxxx Dear Sunbeam, Awwww! Shucks! I feel shy when I hear from my near and dear ol' Friends! I am so lucky to know a few people like yourself online! So kind of you to take time out and have a peep at my Video! My best wishes back at you in return! Brian : )
@LoveMattersMost Aww - no need to be shy...it's only me...lol!! Yes - I consider myself very fortunate to know people like you too. Although - there is no one quite like you on here - you are unique and those of us who have discovered you are lucky indeed! I love what you bring to the YouTube world. Infact, I am going to visit another video or two before bed now - so brace yourself for more Sunbeam comments....hehe!! :)
This is the one of the best things I've seen online today. It covers so much. I am featuring this on my channel for a couple days if you don't mind. Okay?.
Hey Bri, *all good advice* your always very insightful and I appreciate you.
I am a *firm* believer that *less is more* , you could call me a minimalist....with the exception of my computers and recording equipment that is *Smile*
To me, continues expression coupled with vast social communication as well as complete altruism remain my guides.
@JoSieLove2Sing4u Hi Jo, your next to last paragraph was quite unique and interesting. I think it would make a good video for you to tell others about your "guides". I don't know anyone else with the same guides as you!
@TheFaustianMan Hi Faust. I guess wisdom comes naturally to people who have done everything wrong at sometime or another- and remember the results. : ) Bri.
That was a great video. Speaking as a former vegan however, I learned the hard way that having meat once in a while is actually quite important, as we evolved to eat meat and hunt for meat, versus rabbits or other animals that need only greens. It's not fun becoming sick in that way, but I also know what you mean about becoming sick if we eat too much meat all the time or other unhealthy foods too...
@EmeraldxFairy But that aside, I like the advice you give, and admire your cooking healthy foods, which all look very delicious! And reading, learning new languages, working or doing a hobby that you love, and living simply are all things we can definitely all learn to live by, as I also think it would make this world a better place and many more of us would be much happier.
@EmeraldxFairy Hi ExF. Thanks for all your nice compliments. That is very kind of you to say those things. I do hope my vidoes are a positive influence out there in the "Universe." Out there somewhere. In fact, that is why I make them. I just hope that someone, somewhere, can get some good ideas from them! Gee, sorry to hear that being Vegan was a bad experience for you. I can't help but wonder if you were going about it in a sensible way? But anyway, each to their own! Cheers, Brian.
I'll agree with most of the things said here.. alcohol is a toxin, but in moderation, it actually thins out your blood and promotes heart health. anything in moderation should be fine.
