This is an original song. WHW did only two cover songs: "Voice in the wind" by German band Jane (but I really don't see the connection between these two songs and the WHW version is a hundred times better) and the Swedish traditional "Epistle No. 81", which Candlemass also did some time ago.
Finally a Doom metal band with clean vocals! Non-metal listeners don't appreciate a sudden death growl while listening to what they think is classical music. If only this guy had a decent voice... and a lead guitarist (making it Melodic Doom), it would be close to the greatest music of all time. Ever since I got into metal I've been looking for a band like In Flames, but with a singer with the skills of Dallas Green, and the slow driving Doom drums... perfection. I can't really complain though.
@Shawman024 I know this comment is really fucking old, but if you're still into metal and want some clean vocals I would advise you to check out Katatonia. They are doomy, but more modern (Gothenburg sound, like In Flames) and the vocals are extremely clean and awesome :D).
The vocals remind me of those of the band Tyr. If you like this than you may want to check out them as well, especially the Eric the Red album.
