film is cheaper, more practical and better than digital do not make these film camera old-school someday they will take advantage over the digital. me i own 1 digital and 1 film at film takes better photos specially on landscapes.

The earlier you start shooting the better youll be. Especially with a camera like an N90. Good on you! I started when i was about 12 with a Canon AE-1.

dude. doing that on a dslr is okay cause you can just delete the picture right away. when you do that on film your wasting the film which is not good cause film is really expensive. geez. noob photographers

So I am thinking about getting a SLR but I dont know what to get. I really dont want to spend a grand on a camera I may not use, but I really want to get into photography. Any help?
what camera do you have? on some cameras like canon hit the left button on the dpad and choose continous shooting. On nkons im not sure how to do it but i do know that on all cameras f you switch to sport mode( a picture of a person running) that that would be your fps mode. If you have something like a d3 d3x 1d 1ds then i think i=you can pick from high and low meaning a slow speed and high speed i will try to make a video if possible to explain some fps features and how to use
You should put the camera in manual (M) mode and set it to 1/2000th of a second and set the drive mode to continuous. This will be much faster than sports mode considering sports mode is a programmed-auto mode. This video is good, it's just that in sports mode, your camera (the N60) is only shooting maybe 1.5 FPS. in manual with drive mode continuous, it should shoot at least 2.5
Nice man! I sow people saying that you shouldn`t buy a film SLR. I have a Nikon D5100 but want a film SLR for, well fun!
Remember, when it comes to good pictures, the camera is second, the photographer is first!
