@ChaosPunksXe I could be wrong, BUT, I do believe that a governor has many more responsibilities than a senator, especially a freshman senator which bama was. As far as one being 'much higher up' than the other, my comment was in reference to their qualifications to aspire to the white house and I stand by my implied judgement, which you obviously understood, that A governor is more qualified than a senator, especially a one term senator who didn't even serve his first full term.
