well in all honesty, his artistry is better than lysaseck but lysaseck has better technical skills. and i think joubert has gone down in skill. he was wonderful at the 2004 worlds. I still love him as a skater though. Hes my second favorite for the olympics, i think he has what its got, as long as he holds it together. oh and i do agree that CoP is a minor disaster
much better than his long program. I agree with what everyone else is saying though, Brian Joubert is not a fantastic all-around skater. His jumps are great, but I am glad Evan Lysachek won.

Another clear example of why CoP fails. The whole is supposed to be more than the sum of the parts. The program was marred by the landing of the first jump. It was full of energy and skill but with a flub like that it shouldn't have been in 1st, when there were 2 other "triple" programs that were flawless.
Look at the replay. Quad - barely? rotated. Hand down. Combo jump was a mess. And CoP tells us that still scores better than a great triple combo. Scuse me while I vomit.
hot hot hot he is hot

"well in all honesty, his artistry is better than lysaseck but lysaseck has better technical skills."
Um, no! His jumps are better, if he can actually land them. But his artistry and technical skills lag well behind Lysacek.

His skating reminds me of Alexei Yagudin's style.
This music selection and choreography reminds me of Alexei's 2002-2003 program "Racing".

I love to watch him skate.
He is the most popular skater in the world

Well, he is not the most popular, but he definitely is one of the best. ( among Yagudin and Plushenko)
