  • @dakidphil87 i did... he told me buku stuff. they gon grow fast :) umm why dnt u join the club philip??

  • ...sorry for all these long ass comments..lol

ok that was my last one

  • @JelliRayn its cool lol... but i do have really course hair. i guess i have to be patient with this. sigh... but gettin them retwisted every 2 weeks is alot? n thanks!

  • @KendrasHot no...every 2 weeks is cool...i thought u said every week. and i can tell you dont have course hair cause ur coils look like ringletts so thats my i said 6-9 months. It took me about 10 months to loc

  • hit me up if you have any other questions or anybody on LocdN2Lectuals. we have ppl that have just started locing to ppl that have been loc'ing for 5/6 yrs...good luck on ur journey and i will def be watching ur progress so make sure you continue making vids and keeping us posted :)

  • and i dont suggest you retwist every week...that puts alot of stress on ur roots/hair and causes it to thin..you look like you have small ones already so the more you twist the hair is more likely to break off and then thin out until it eventually breaks off. I would say wait at least 2 weeks...but again this is just me...there are 10000000 different ways to maintain ur locs so you have that times 10 ppl telling u what works for them.

  • inbetween retwisting you leave them alone...your hair will loc by itself. I just sleep with a scarf on and let it ride. Ive been doing that since i started and that was almost 5 yrs ago...as far as products stay away from anything heavy...like bees wax or gels(thats just my suggestion). ppl use all kinds of products but you want something that will not build up in ur hair...something that will wash out easy even after it locs.

  • rule 1:keep ur hands out of ur head...i dont care what ppl tell you. you dont wanna twist them all day. it will not make them loc faster

the locing process as far as how long depends on ur hair texture and for what i can tell you prob have about 6-8 months before you will see anything close to ur your being "loc'd"

if you have REALLY course hair it may be a LITTLE sooner but you cant rush it.
