  • cut the music off

  • Music is very loud !

How do you expect us to get the slight differences in the sound .

I feel like you want us to learn the song instead of the language

  • music to loud!!

  • sounds just like french

  • I enjoyed it thank-you. You need to make a part three.

  • i couldnt hear the words because of the music!!!

  • DUDE! Just like french!

I would love to surprise and honer him by learning his home language. But I can barely hear you over the music, please adjust your volume.

  • the music is too loud, i cannot hear the correct pronunciation.

  • Now I can talk to my mom in creole

  • I speak french so it wouldnt be hard to learn at all...

  • One comment, please turn the background music down so we can hear the pronounciation better

  • it would be better if u lowered the music <:3

but helpful none the less ouo

  • imeen yeah not teah

  • dominican speek creol ooh teah hatti and dominican split up spanish / fench creol

  • the music is too loud in the back ground

  • Merci is French and mesi is hatian creole.this type of creole overlaps from French unlike my language is creole but it's called belizean kriol and our creole overlaps from english for example thank you in English and in my language it's tank yuh

  • my fiance is haitian and he wont teach this to me at all...

  • it's ok but the background music is TOO loud.

  • I can't hear the words with the loud background music. Is there anyway you could lower the music? It is very pretty though :)

  • Thanks for the lesson however I cannot hear you to well bc of the volume of the background music

  • my whole fam speak creole but my generation doesnt.....i am part of the 3rd generation iof my fam in thew usa.....i hope u get the lessons to be deeper in the language.....thanks for the help

  • Hey there! Can you pliz stop or lower the music in the background on your next lessons. It makes it very hard to listen to the proper pronounciation...Thanks much! Mani...

  • I like the video, but from a English speaker, I am really determine to learn and speak creole. However, the music in the back ground is taking away from the video and the learning experience I would suggest lowing the music for the pronouncement of the words can be heard clearly. I hope this help with your other videos. BTW, I appreciate that you use a black background and white for the front. It helps me concentrate on the words and remember how to spell them.

  • man haitian creole is very similar to my language "mauritian creole"....

  • aww man ur vid is so helpful...I really wanna learn,im gonna be very commited to this thing

  • question...isnt mesi ( thank you) suppose to be merci?

  • @ClariiSeliix3 Merci is the french. Haitian Kreyol is based on French so there overlap.

  • Great

  • i think u should take the music off so people can actually hear u

  • turn the music down a little please

  • youre good at wat your doin ,but the music is makin it harder for me to learn ..im not familiar wit the words so tryin to focus wit the music makes it harder..dnttake the music of cuz its nice just turn it low...thanks for such helpful videos

    caribbeanpalm@yahoo.co.kr

  • the music is too loud in the back u cant hear the proper annunciation

  • dats dat jamn.... Alan cave se pa pou dat

  • Thank you. It might be better if you left the music out. It is a little distracting.

  • @saintmarc1804---Sak Pase mesami..map pale kreyol un pew petit petit pa rim ok..ma apran pale kreyol pouki sa ex menage mwen d/n want to teach me..merci ampil pou pale kreyol je rete na Bklyn j'dore kompa! IDK if my kreyol is still fresh but I try to practice when I see/meet smbdy..this is a gd oppty 4 me..enchante, nap pale aplutar..4get how to spell it..Bonsoir!

  • Very helpful with my studies

  • my song <3 imm half haitiann so this is the basics lol

  • This would be a great video, but the music in the background is unnecessary, completely distracting and way too loud. It's a nice song but I can barely hear you. Like really HEAR the inflection in your voice which will help in the pronunciation of these words that may be very unfamiliar to most people.

  • my boyfriend is haitian and i be wondering what him and his friends are saying so im trying to learn a little something lol. thank you for this

  • coment s appelle la chason? mercie

  • I <3 tha song.

  • Très bonne vidéo. Comment s'appelle la chanson?

  • MUY INTERESANTE!!!

  • the comunication is the heart of life thankyou

  • So it's like redneck french? And before you get all up in arms and get your panties in a wad, I am not calling hatians rednecks. I'm comparing as to people in new york vs people speaking in southern alabama. Same language.. big difference!

  • good

  • Thank you....keep 'em coming!!!

  • i'm hatian and i dont know how to speak creole

  • Thank you so much i am going to Haiti for a missions trip in July and i really want to learn a little bit of the language before i go

  • thanks

  • im going to sierra leone soon and i was wondering if this is the same creole that they speak their? and if it is how would you say stop.... and get down..

  • very good for the first lesson

  • my only comment is that it's too hard to hear the enunciation of the words with the music playing in the video. so, if the music could be turned off or turned down low so, it's not heard, that would be great because then people could hear how to say the words

  • mwe remen haiti apil,, mersi=)

  • its hard to hear the coorect pronunciation with the music in the background tone it down some

  • THIS IS A DISGRACE TO FRANÇAIS

why cant you just learn real french and stop harassing the beauty of french?

    Corruption 101.

  • @torktt you're the disgrace

  • @torktt FIrst of all Haitian Creole is similar to french. It is not in any way, shape, form imitating it or harassing it. Shut Up and go away. Bye.

  • @torktt ITS NOT FUCKING FRECH ITS A MIX OF SOM AFRICAN SPANISH AND FRENCH

  • @torktt kaka twet.

  • this is amazing im trying to learn before i met my boyfriends family

  • Good job!

I was wondering if you knew the name of the song in the background. It's one of my favorites and I can't find it anywhere :\

    Thanks :D

  • @amandularnow Just type "se pa pou dat (remix) on youtube.

  • It would be better to turn off the music while the lesson is on. I cannot hear it right to learn it!!!!!!!

  • Thank you for posting this! I never really learned the language as much as I wanted to before the hurricane here in New Orleans. I'm already beginning to remember!

  • YEAAA!

  • YEAAA!

  • I LIKE IT A LOT

  • my "friend" is haitian and his family speaks Haitian creole, and I'm trying to learn his language. He said he knows it but can't say what he wants. But he understands it. I want to understand it too..

this is cool. But don't use music next time.n Thanx for posting! ♥

  • is ths only for haiti creoles?? or can ths wrk for lousiana creoles too??

  • well i dont know if lousiana creole is the same as haitian creole

  • @saintmarc1804

Its a little different. Some words are the same but not all. Its like a different dialect almost...

  • @saintmarc1804 it's similar to louisana Creole but not the same

  • @AmericanRejection nah they developed very differently. Of course, because they both came from french, they are somewhat mutually intelligible but not 100%. Also, the cajun creole tends to be more like international french than the haitian creole.

  • This is alsome I'm hatian but I don't know the language b/c I was born in hati and I was never new it

  • my lil girl dad haitian and we were together 6yrs and the damn bastard wouldn't teach me creole. thanks 4 this.

Tld him I leaned myself...mind you he wanted to speak Spanish I wouldn't teach him a thing....he is not with us anymore b/c he died but I still remember what I learned..thing is to learn it!

  • @LADY69in What is that? I've been dating a Haitian man for two years and he is just now teaching me how to speak a little conversational HC. I know he loves me but he just would not teach it to me no matter how much I asked. (shaking my head). I like it and I hope he continues to teach me but that is so strange.
