Actually, the big events on Saturday tamed down the flows near my home in Kalapana a lot, because the lava pressure has drained into the Napau crater. But things are changing hourly, moving fast, and we are waiting and watching the pali to see what happens next. Could be big.... Thanks for asking, and stay tuned.....
i need to explain myself. i am a honolulu hawaiian and honestly am not familiar with proper protocol but i went to kalapana really to clear my head and prepare for what's ahead. this chant asks specifically for guidance in the wisdom found in the music and i wanted to share this request with my nephew kamele brackinsick in san jose, a beautiful hawaiian musician who just missed the american idol top 24. i know akua has bigger plans than that for him...
