i dont understand y u canged it, this song is about God, not a lover.....i was so happy to see a guy sing it, but its not about a relationship between a man and women, so theres no need to change the lyrics......nice voice tho,.....very unique!

About the lyrics, that's the way I see the song! Some thinks it's about God, I just don't! But I respect the way you see it! Everyone has the freedom of interpretation! ;) ! And some of the lyrics make me think that it's not about God! :)

Anyway, I like this song and when I decided to cover this song, I didn't know that Flyleaf was considered as a Christian band! And for me, music is music! ;)

Yes, it's different, just an acoustic guitar and a voice! But a cover can be with as many instruments as in the original! Mine is not and I like it that way! And more I always try to not sound like original! What would be the point? Listen the original then! ;)
