  • Most meaningless and unoriginal song I've ever heard. This is an insult to the actually talented artists like Tool or Porcupine Tree.

  • @mothafix you sir are an asshole=)

  • @mothafix WTF you're compareing Blackie to Tool (a band that doesn't even have lyrics just some moanin whining bullshit) and Porcuneverheardofem. seriously dude, you need help

  • chingona rola w.a.s.p rules....

  • i dunno why but i think chris holmes' legato is so natural out of any guitar player ive ever heard

  • Rock at its best! \mm/

  • poor drummer lookin' at that sh*te all gig long...

  • @8saintsfc Blackie doesn't wipe?

  • ass less chaps are you f'in kiddin' me...I guess you have to be somebody to get away with that gobsh*te!

  • Funny how it clearly has Charvel on the Headstock, Chris still plays it now, but with a reversed jackson headstocked neck, And there's not much yellow paint left.....

  • Love the pants, love the boots love his hair, just LOVE BLACKIE!

  • wasp is fucking awesome band.

  • what was it with assless pants in the 80's?

  • Chris plays a Jackson custom star in this vid (and its yellow)

  • @Evilgmog41

The body is a custom parts axe, he had a strat neck and a Jackson star body.

Over time, the guitar's had 4 necks (probably more) and a fucking big hole where Blackie chainsaw'd it.

  • one m0:00 time !!!!!!

  • si ubiera nacido antes y tubiera 22 años pero en esos tiempos, tambien les estaria mostrando el culo a los politicos de mi nacion, y con puro rock n roll del bueno, saludos desde chile

  • what a bitch mmmmm

  • chris holmes or not they still kick major ass

  • @67maxheadroom fuckkkin right they do

  • its true: this man have a hole right there where the sun is not shining

  • does someone know what guitar is the yellow one?????

  • @necrodave666 that's not yellow, but white, if you mean Chris's guitar. it's a Kramer Starshape (Design: Eddie Van Hanlen)

  • @germanvigilante pardon, Eddie van HALEN *oops*

  • if the crowd was a little more into it this song would sound even more epic

  • fuck i was born to late

    this is unreal !

  • I Wannaaaaa Beeee!!! Somebody!!!que recuerdos jeje yo con pelo en la cabeza jejee

  • @METALlicaisking what are you talking about ? its like comparing dimmu borgir and aerosmith ! WASP and Mötley Crüe had their own styles, Mötley wanted mostly to win the teen girls' heart and being famous because of them. WASP wanted to do black, shocking things, and be agressive. both band is great ,

  • 0:44 OMG

  • HELLIONS CHECK OUT BLACKIE LAWLESS FACEBOOK FANPAGE , 39,590 HELLIONS FROM AROUND THE WORLD , AND FOR UPDATES , AND MORE.....

  • @reedpualson If ONLY rock/metal concerts were like THIS ONE-and the performers LOOKED LIKE "ROCK STARS"-and NOT like "regular" people!

  • @AngelofAnguish For real!! My family worked with Chris Holmes in the L.A. area on recordings. I have worked with a few in the industry. I went to High School with Jerry dixon. Pretty cool dude. But yes, we really had alot of energy back then and really loved what we did and we still do.

  • @TheKevo7777 What was Chris Holmes like back then? Was he hard or easy to work with? I got a kick out of Chris' interview on the video "the Decline of Western Civilization: the Metal Years!" Drunk, laying on a floatation device, in a swimming pool-THAT'S METAL ALRIGHT, in my opinion! On the WASP home video, "Videos...In The Raw," Blackie says that Chris Holmes is 6' 7"-is this true? Are there ANY recordings of Blackie's pre-WASP band Sister available?

  • @AngelofAnguish Funny you ask. He was nice enough but was drunk allot. A full blown drinker. One day at the studio Chris was to lay tracks for my brother-In-Laws band. When he was really drunk he would use speed to bring himm back so he could play correctly. One day he was drunk and he could not find his speed and he thought one of the band memebers stole his stash so he threatened them. They told him to look better and that he was drunk and probably did not remember. (Continued above)

  • @AngelofAnguish .He did and found it in the pick-case part. Once he snorted the speed they said he started playing good because it brough his drunk down. Once he was ok he was easy to work with. i never myself work with Chris but he lived one town over but I knew many people Chris knew. He is tall. If he is that tall I'm not sure but I do beleive he is from what I have heard. as far as records od Sister I'll post what I found next. (Continued above)

  • @AngelofAnguish Sister began record on a Teac 3340 reel to reel at Piper’s Magnum Opus Studio. Piper and Lawless accumulated numerous songs. They jammed with a couple of friends who were rehearsing at Magnum Opus until Lawless brought in Joey Palemo and Jimi Image. Sister was reborn. The line-up would include Blackie Lawless, lead vocals and guitar, Randy Piper, guitar and vocals, Joey Palemo on bass and Jimi Image on drums. (continued)

  • @AngelofAnguish During the days of Sister, Lawless had just returned home from a red-eye flight from Las Vegas with an idea to change the name of the band from Sister to Circus Circus. So I think you will find what they wrote recorded under Circus Circus and some as W.A.S.P i hope this helps and thanks for the questions.

  • No disrespect to Blackie, but W.A.S.P. just ain't W.A.S.P. without Chris Holmes.

  • @crairhart442

The Crimson Idol is a perfect album... without Chris Holmes

  • @crairhart442 You are right. Fior a start, WASP without Chris are in tune and in key.

  • @crairhart442 Exactly

  • ...this takes me back...awsome!...except for having to see Blackie's ass cheecks...

  • awesome :)

@@@@CHECKOUT THE BLACKIE LAWLESS FACEBOOK FAN PAGE 34,638 HELLIONS..

  • I miss Blackie with that awesome Bass!

  • Really looked like he was lipsyncing. And they were obviously having audio issues.

  • @Daim0th It's fairly common for live concerts that were recorded with a separate audio and video feed. It's the editors job to make sure they synch up when they cut it.

  • 1:29...playback much?

  • Damn it, I´m just 13, and argentinian. I wish I was a teenager in the 80s, living there and whatever. I now it´s an really used story, but well, I can wish.

  • LIVE IN THE RAW !!! Loza

  • Bulit to last forever!

  • FUCKING BADASS SONG

  • @unlikeanyotherhuman thanks...you know the score

  • kacsadaráló (N)

  • Haha Blackies ass is hanging out :X Reminds me of when a big bear gets shot in the as on catoons and ya see their bear but lol :P

  • The vocal volume is lower than the guitars, which is bad. U cant hear Blackie at 100% :(

  • did anybody else notice that you could hear blackie singing even though he wasnt near his mike??? dont get me wrong though, i LOVE wasp!! always have and always will!!!

  • @catman63879 chorus, backing vocals are singing.

  • @WusshA backing vocals sound an awful like blackie and i dont know of any people who has a unique voice like blackie. but if you say backing vocals we can go with that

  • @catman63879 youre an idiot.

  • @tuksee yep i get that alot

  • is that blackies ass hanging out?

  • @TheCarrolltonHawks Yes lol, I just made a comment about that :P

  • long live Blackie Lawless

  • Seeing Blackie Lawless's ass wasn't on my to-do list today....

  • defetnly got some of there image from kiss no doubt

  • @ericfffggg lots of doubt... they got their image from W.A.S.P, nobody else, it was blackie's vision given form to take rock from "socially acceptable" bands and make it into something nasty and dirty that your parents would hate, he saw the potential for what we now know as heavy metal and he made it a reality... most people dont realise it but WASP are just as responsible for modern metal as bands like Motorhead or even Metallica.

  • @sathos I think it's safe to say the Blackie had some influence from KISS, very Gene Simmons-esque in his performance.

  • good shiet

  • good shiet

  • right!

  • Mortel !

  • I love how their all wearing assless chaps! =P

  • haha blackie is rocking the assless chaps

  • I grew up in the wrong decade...

  • not really!!at least you can recognize quality!!enjoy the music and be a good person!!

  • @HeavyMetalNoize I grew up in the right one, however I was pretty young LOL

  • @HeavyMetalNoize that's what I'm always thinkin' about! Life is unfair at times!

  • he is the only prince of darkness i know,..fuck u and your autograph

  • I loved and still love these guys.,,saw them on this tour..i was like 13!!

  • Blackie!!!!!!!!!!!!You rock!!!!!!!!

  • recorded live on October 24th, 1984, at London's Lyceum Theater.

esta en dvd en zona americana con l aregion libre,

  • INCREIBLE SHOW!!! DE QUE AÑO ES??

  • Chris Holmes is one of the most underrated guitarists in metal, esp. since his guitar looks like it went through a woodchipper and he was shitfaced 99% of the time.

I had this tape back in the day. Anyone know if it was ever released on DVD? It's a classic!

  • Oh God Blackie Lawless. I have a schoolgirl crush on him. But I love them for the music!

  • Great Stuff fuckin love it

  • lastima que la voz este un poco bajita no? pero buenola cancion aguanta demasiado. I WANNA BE SOMEBODY.

  • This song is amazing!! I'm suprised that this wasn't in VH1's top 40 metal songs.

  • They are a famous band, but only to people who actually know something about metal.

  • una gran cancion es una de mis favoritas y tengo el vhs de este concierto y es muy bueno.

  • Damn right along with Armoured Saint!!

  • Well... they were and are pretty famous.

  • i dont think they were that underated? were they?

  • Nah. all people with a certain relation to rock has heard of 'em.

  • meeh, not me

  • hell f-king yeah... they looks funny, but music is great!

  • I agree with that rap comment, and I'm American. Raised on 80's music and still love it. LONG LIVE ROCK!!! \,,/

  • LMFAO you can hear when the sequencer kicks out and all the backing vocals are gone lol without their sequencer they are not good harmony lol.. don't get me wrong.. WASP friggin rocks and they are still my favorite 80's band of all time!!!

  • C'mon brothers! I want to be somebody! I want to be somebody too!

  • Rock and metal are still very popular in Europe. American teens have turned to listening to mindless, talentless crap.

  • Your dam right, bunch of hip hop faggots and im american

  • That's right, anyone can talk an album full of shit.

  • best comment on youtube

  • @boutcha1 hey fuck you not my kids they still rock and always will

  • @boutcha1 then im moving to Europe right away!

  • @boutcha1 Don't generalize :) You are most wrong.

  • @boutcha1 ....WORDS!!!

  • @boutcha1 You call Disturbed, Chevelle, Sevendust, Slipknot, Mudvayne, POD, Godsmack, A perfect circle, Deftones, just to name a few, mindless talentless crap? You just couldn't be any further than the truth.

  • I think that it is probably the best W.A.S.P. concert I have ever seen ! Here (on yt) are another clips fron this concert. They played Sleeping (in the fire), Helion etc. Songs which were played were briliant ! It's like on the studio version. W.A.S.P. in '80 was incredible ! Now they still rock (but concerts it's not the same...but I know it;s normal... time goes by)

    W.A.S.P. FOREVER !

  • man i wish i was a teen ageer in the 1980s in stead of this shit rap age w.a.s.p rulz metal for life

  • i hear you man!!!!!

as long as we stay true to the real metal, instead of rap, and the newly found poser metal, then the good shit may just become highly respected once again.

    =]

  • @foxman123456789 I agree! Just WHERE do people hope to go or How FAR do people plan on going with rap/hip hop?

  • @foxman123456789 you dont even know man, im a drummer theres definatly way less musicans now and i can say that. worst part of that i wasnt even alive back then! if i put a poster up in my highschool like sabbath did itd be pointless. i know every muscian and they all suck. americas turning to garbage , dam mexicans

  • @ryan79ryan same case... except im mexican :P

  • @foxman123456789 Yeah you missed a good time.......there was nothing like running to the record store to pick up a new album. And listenting to 80's metal now (I'm 41, some songs really bring you back to a certain time and place, and when songs can still get you worked up, you know the music has stood the test of time. Can't say that many bands out these days will be able to say the same thing 25-30 years later. I'm glad you are into a genre of music that made such an impact.

  • fucking live!

  • You KIDS don't know what you missed out on! Blackie is GOD!

  • Fuck yea! REAL METAL!

  • Too bad I missed the '80s...

  • 1st couple of wasp albums were good,, this band was much better than crue.

  • I haven't heard this song in years . Bad ass

  • que gran grupo, me encantan .larga vida a w.a.s.p

  • Unlimited supplies of energy....also a lot of drugs....but they fuck asses anyway....that's rock sisters!!!!!!!!

  • I want to say Metallica opened up for these guys on this tour, my reasoning being that I have a bootleg of them playing the same venue in the same year. Metallica also toured with Venom in '84 so it could have been from that tour but who knows...it's all good!

  • The tour you are talking about was a triple bill, Wasp, Metallica and Armoured Saint. Happened in 84, while Motley Crue was opening for a german band called Accept, Bon Jovi was opening for Judas Priest, and I was at all of those concerts, was a good year

  • Damn it sure was. You are one lucky dude!

  • My first concert was KISS, with WASP, and I think it was 85, but all kinda fuzzy nowadays, but i went to see WASP, I do remember that

  • quit the weed man :P

    nice gig!

  • Ariel "batata" Quispe, pedazo de tirapetes, si ves este video comunicate conmigo, recontracortado. Yo vivo donde siempre y tengo el mismo teléfono.

    Marcelo Arias.

  • Blackie's voice is unbeleivable

  • blackie lawless sounds the exact same on the album. most bands cant do that. WASP is awsome

  • Coldplay and Radiohead should learn this by heart before jumping on any stage.

  • hahaha you are damn right my friend!!!!they should learn to display and transmit the true power of metal!!!!!!!

  • man they had sum cool guitars

  • if anyone know.. can you tell me whos the white haired guitarist? in live 84 blackie did play bass.. :D

  • it's Chris Holmes

  • Blackie played bass til the Electric Circus album.

  • Chris Holmes aka Mean Motherfuckin Man!

  • @mummo11 its mean man him self chirs holmes

  • it seems like it's playback, because i can't see anyone going on backing vocals when blackie leaves the mic.

although i can hear that the vocals aren't exactly like on the album, but still i do wonder..

    anybody got a good explanation?:P

  • it's randy piper (the guitarist with black hair) that sings the chorus so it's not playback

  • @crimsontower the only expanation posible its that OMG dude we are talking bout WASP , they are just amazing

  • the lip movement is not sync, and the sound is to awesome to be true.. but its wasp were talking about! so it must be true!

  • That rocked my world

  • this is definitely not playback

  • Blackie is so f-ing raw! He sounds and looks like a damn beast. He brings out something primal, hidden, forbidden and wonderfully dangerous!

I couldn't say any better !!! So true Ragnarmannen

  • fantastic metal,wasp=legend i love this band.

  • fantastic metal,wasp=legend i love this band.

  • wasp forever!!!!!

  • WASP is a legend of METAL!!!!!blackie is so fantastic! hes badass.. :D

  • hmmm... only one thing can be said...

A-FUCKIN-MAZING!!! W.A.S.P. rule, sadly as previous comments have stated metal will never be this good again... but i think we'd get bored of the classics if it was... and anyway, aslong as blackie got breath in his lungs n a guitar in his hand W.A.S.P. will always be there, and i don't beleive that any of their albums have ever been bad, the vast majority have been great

  • Metal will NEVER be this good again! \m/

  • right on. how true. Almost kinda sad. what wonderful memories though.

  • W.A.S.P. is great live!

  • epic performance
