  • Exelent DEMO of the BCR2000!!! I love to see that...

  • Can the DW8000's parameters be controlled by the BCR2000?

  • Long time ago since I actually have used DW8000 as synth (I rather use it as master keyboard) - but there's no reason why this should not work :-)

  • @kiddvenom yes. I already created the configs for the DW-8000 and DSS-1. Works awesome.

  • I was hoping that the BCR2000 had digital character scribble strips whereby each set up on the BCR2000 could be save for each different softsynth (i.e. OPX; Pro53; Jupiter 8v; etc).

Otherwise, I can't see my self memorizing what each knob is controlling what parameter OR worse manually changing the scribble strip for each softsynth...that would not work in a live situation.

I "think" that I came across a product much like the BCR2000 that had digital scribble strips. Any clue?

  • You probably mean the Mackie Universal Control C4 - this one has 32 rotaries with displays

  • Does the BCR2000 have a scribble strip for each Knob/Button? If not, how can you tell which synth-parameter is being controlled by each knob?

  • Yes, there are white strips below all rows where you can write onto; I personally know the used assignment by heart, that's why there's nothing labeled - I see it in front of my inner eye :-) The BCR Toolkit of VM Bundle comes with printable tables where you can see which parameter is mapped to what control on BCR, so you can transfer this to the stripes
