Islamic extremism COMES FROM SOMEWHERE, the Dispatches programme showed us examples of it. The interviewee was in the right here. All he had to do was say the programme was about Islamic extremism, not Muslims in general, but under the stress of being questioned by George, it's obviously quite dificult to think of sensible words.

The fact that George Galloway didn't answer the question just furthers my belief he's a sympathizer for muslims and Islam itself. Yes, they filmed muslims undercover, but if news of a synagogue or church gave reason for the presenters to go into these establishments, they would do it in a heartbeat. It's only 'cause muslims are under the spotlight (and rightly so) that Galloway has a problem with it. If Christians had flown into the WTC, we'd all be examining that religion.

The Old Testament does have some repulsive things in it, as does the Koran and the Hadith. The difference is most Christians would prefer to act like those statements didnt exist, let alone entertain the thought of trying to enforce them on human beings. But there are ample cases of violent archaic scriptural laws being enforced by fanatical muslims. You can see young girls being stoned to death on youtube.

The fact is that Islam in the UK has to a great extent been hijacked by those promoting extremist interpretations.
