hey i have a problem, always had with my turtlebeachs well i have the x41s and i am always worried that i am either TOO loud or not loud enough..my volume that i can hear other people is at 3. And when i am in a game chat, say like mw3, and if i am not talking and someone else does, my mic goes off! WHY does it do that? i want a true fix to this problem, thanks.

At 2:15 it shows the optical cable I'm referring to... the little tiny plastic end that plugs into the receiver and the xbox. Even in the video it still looks like the plastic is on. I was under the impression they had to be removed, so I tried but they didn't come off easily. Eventually I gave up and just plugged it in, and it works... I don't get how it works if there is plastic covering it?

Hey man, just got some turtle beach x41's for X-Mas and I'm trying to hook them up. How did you take the plastic ends off the optical cable? I tried to pull them off by hand but it doesn't seem to work, I don't know if I should use pliers or what... any help would be appreciated!

@AFXAcid37 mine simply came off by hand. do what ever you have to to take off the plastic, just be careful of the optical cables ends

@mike123asd It has simulated 7.1 surround sound. I'm not sure whether or not you can get it to work.
